Six children damn, they must find the perpetrators of this heinous act, there is nothing like unknown person here at all. They must take samples of the food to lab for immediate testing to know exactly what happened to the food. A thourough autopsy and investigation must be conducted to unmasked the evil doers of this act. That is the only way justice can be dispensed.

Pls did you read anything about contaminated food there or food poisoning? What are the symptoms of food poisoning?
Were we told the children were vomiting before death? Any diarrhoea?
These are significant symptoms that would have been mentioned if present. There would have been vomitus or stool on the floors, everywhere. If not, their deaths wouldn't have been so fast.
Then if neither of this was present, its not food contamination by bacteria/viruses.
I expect some survivors or at least for some to be rushed to the hospital in cases of food poisoning.
In as much as the cause of death can't be ascertained yet, it cannot be ruled out that those kids were not deliberately poisoned, or maybe carbon monoxide poisoning, or the carelessness of someone bringing a dangerous chemical to the home

Could be Cyanide. Most ppl in d village often die of cyanide poisoning bc d commonest food eaten there is cassava. Abacha (cassava flakes) not well prepared has wiped out many families.

I remember the one that happened years ago in Anambra, the whole family died after they ate cassava that was not prepared well, ppl started suspecting foul till autopsy report confirmed cyanide poisoning

I wonder o. Only toxicology can tell. Eating certain species of cassava cooked as tuber can release a lethal dose of hydrocyanic acid. It kills goats easily, also humans.

Faulty old electrical appliances may also release carbon monoxide. All have to be explored first.
