Benin Crown Prince and Edaiken N’ Uselu, Eheneden Erediauwa, has stated that he has no preferred Candidate to Edo state 2016 governorship election.
The Edaiken spoke during the visit of APC governors and party standard bearer to the election billed for 10th September 2016, at the Weekend in Benin City.
The delegation was accompanied by Edo APC governorship Candidate, Godwin Obaseki along with his running mate, Philip Shaibu who paid obeisance before the royal father.
Prince Erediauwa who wished the delegation and Obaseki well, tacitly commended APC led government of Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s and prayed Almighty God and the ancestors to endow the Candidates seeking to lead the state the wisdom to make good policies that would impact on the lives of the downtrodden in society.

Speaking on behalf of the APC governors, the Chairman of Progressives Governors and Governor of Imo State, Mr. Rochas Okorocha, paid tribute to the departed Benin Monarch for promoting unity of Nigeria and good neighbourliness.
According to the governor, has made his mark, “but if after all these good jobs, there should be a continuation, so that we, as my brother rightly put it yesterday, that we will not go back to Egypt.
“Governance is the one that relates with the people. And for the whole party to have looked at all the candidates, not because he is the finest, not because he is the tallest, and have chosen him means that certain qualities of Adamism are in him. They started right and they said we should accompany him here. And the first to visit the stream takes the cleanest of the water.”
