Nah, that sounds dictatorial and imperious. It should remain a thing of choice but then the right thing to do is tell your age, not an imprecise 'guesswork' age.

Looking at the contestants one already know most are in their 20's but their age is unknown, so telling mid, early or late 20's is just echoing what we already know.

Imagine a scenario were a winner emerge and someone ask how old is he and you say early 20's? Does that makes sense.
