It is not APC's fault.............APC doesn't control the price of crude oil in the world or the Govt of Buhari..........If you want to blame the Govrnmt be objective because WE AR ALL IN IT TOGETHER.

Shut your trap.

The same useless govt that was pre-warned of a drop in oil prices but they still went ahead to pass a dubious scammed filled deficit budget which happens to be the largest budget on record.

Did your foolish khalifar Buhari not campaign to "stabilize" oil prices with the help of the military?

The fact remains that this present gworo chewing govt has no clue on how to run an economy in the 21st century and the only thing they were hoping for is that the oil price goes up. but yet this same set of fools are claiming of diversifying the economy with no single policy supporting that drive.

You better stop defending trash or you will end up in the southw@ste bin

Any penny/ shishi or farthing that will be owed to the federal civil service commission in the name of "owing of salaries" will lead to secrets being leaked and sold out of hunger. I presume and also guess that no political jobber will want to hear the original results on how INEC selected them to rubbish our country.

Madam move on, election has come and gone...even Jonathan has moved on.....WE CANT MORE CONCERNED THAN THE BEREIVED.......The country is in a mess as a result of fall in crude oil price......

I totally agree that this Government started doing what is required to revamp the economy very late because of the stubbornness of the President. But please guys a country's economy does not collapse in 1 year, what you are seeing is a reflection of what has been happening over the years. The price of crude oil started declining during GEJ's govt and continued sharply afterward, no single person can be blamed for the decrease in price of crude oil. Election has come and gone, you people should forget about the election and move on. If you have a reason to blame the president, do it without being petty. Whether we all like it or not, Buhari is the President of Ibo, Hausa, Yoruba and collectively Nigeria. so stop all this attack that has helped no one.

Leave us with our worthless oil, environmentally degraded land and waters and our future civil war and concentrate on lerning to recite the koran by heart

So of all the agricultural and poultry produce known to mankind that generate revenue, this government can't think of any to create employment and generate revenue?

Of the heavy sunshine and wind wasting in the northern part of the country non of the state governments or federal has deemed it fit to look into solar or wind electricity generation to be independent of generation from gas, have constant power while attracting viable investments?

Of all the fertile land in the south east known for growing palm trees and other produce no state governor has taken it serious to mechanise and massively plant palm trees to increase produce of palm oil and increase the IGR while creating more employment.

The ifeanyi Ubah, Uche Ogah, Okorocha Rochas and all these acclaimed rich guys from the SW, SS and the North, must they only venture into crude oil products that is fast declining in price?

All the professors and PhD holders are they only good in copying, changing values and publishing the same nonsense from already published work as international journal that does not even solve a single problem in the country?

What exactly is happening to this giant of Africa, the envy of other African countries and the western nations?

I can think of so many ways this economy can be revived with the money at their disppsal but I wonder what those at the top are using tax payer's money for.

It's high time our senators, house of rep members and all those occupying political posts start paying about 50% tax on their salaries Mr Emefiele. Stop pushing these taxes to the poor masses while leaving yourselves from it.

This country will soon be worst than Zimbabwe from what am seeing.

Lol...I quite agree with you that is a serious issue that calls for concern....Cos the moment that happens then we'll be in a serious mess. However, I think it will be too early to say and I think the CBN Governor was reckless to have said that. there are many ways to explore to ensure payment. They can even issue bonds to raise money bith locally and internationally. The main issue here is that the Govt need to solve the problem of Niger Delta so as to ensure that as much revenue as possible is earned from the sale of crude oil....I totally agree that this govt is too slow like sometimes appearing confused in the midst of this trouble ( even though I supported Buhari). But I believe this time shall pass

I Agree with this. Buharis government must collect taxes from we the common yoruba in lagos and SW to feed the rich politicians in ABJ, So that Aisha can buy wristwatches for 10 million naira and Zahra can fly to heathrow at 5 million naira per flight.

The poor in lagos and SW must feed the rich politicians and maintain their jumbo paycheck.
A decline in economy must only affect the poor not our rich Buhari. God bless Buhari for we yoruba muslims.

The Nigerian economy is very strong fundamentally, and even though the country will NEVER be great, it can never be too poor or so impoverished that it cannot afford to pay salaries, that Nigeria will not be able to pay salaries of federal civil servants is a BIG lie.

Nigeria is a poor country, yes, but it is not impoverished, so the country can continue on forever and ever, just throttling along just subsisting and existing, never making any significant progress

The powers that be have decreed Nigeria's failure, so it is being systematically de-commisioned. We are at the end of time for this particular epoch, illumination is coming.

The world is about to witness a very hard reset from THE MOST HIGH GOD.

Really ? How come the economy has crashed within one year under APC ? Maybe we should take it as first of its kind because, under GEJ we weren't suffering like this.

What was he thinking when he was auto piloting Nigerian Economy without cabinet , claiming his body odour was doing wonders hence, saw no reason to appoint his so called noise makers ? Probably, he must have thought that money flows in just on its own.

Did he and many of his sai babas not realize that Nigerian economy relies solely on that single oil revenue ? Why did he pick fight which will disturb the little we would be getting from NigerDelta ? Was NigerDelta not at peace when it was handed over to Buhari ? Why did he pick fight against NigerDelta at the first place, now asking them to accept negotiation ? I guess he was drunk with the new sheriff in town mantra then that made him engage militants without any plans on how to go about it.

What has he achieved with his NigerDelta provocation so far ? Nothing.

Buhari is clueless and arrogant, reason he came in wiith the mindset of lording it over everybody and not running an inclusive government.

Thank God we are in all these together.

New sheriff in town effect we no see again. Body odour no work again..

Omenka, beremx, passingshot. Body odour is no longer working and the new sheriff in town has put on fire in NigerDelta but now behaving like a toddler. He even ran away from their threat not to visit Ogoniland.
