saintikechi:I'm a devoted christian but we should not put religion b4 common sense......if the cele's want to put on garment to school, they should approach the court of law the way the muslim did.....to be frank and sincere female muslims are made to always be on hijab and that is optional. |

2dugged:. . . NOW see who is being economical with the truth. What does a muslims hijab have to do with your life? And if a lady decides to cover herself all up in contrast to your naked lot, is this of any biz of urs? I really dont know your problem. Since colonialism Christians has always been determining our laws. Saturdays and Sunday is holiday not so is Friday. Even the school uniforms are designed by Christians. Missionaries back then would want muslims to become christians before they enrol....the list goes on.... . PLS GROW UP FROM THIS YOUR ISLAMOPHOBIA.... |

AbuTwins:I don't need to have phobia for Islam, they are doing a good job at putting the phobia in nations all over the world, I heard one of your brothers in the faith recently carried out an attack in Germany while France is still recovering, hehehehehehe, soon the whole world will have phobia for Islam, tell your brothers keep killing for allah and get their seven virgins, hehehehehehe, pissful religion people |
Re: Appeal Court Allows Hijab In Lagos Primary And Secondary Schools by AbuTwins: 11:16am On Jul 25, 2016 |
2dugged:. . . THATS JUST AN IGNORAMUS' IDEA OF OUR RELIGION.... Suicide is a major sin. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) stated that the one who commits suicide will be punished with something like that with which he killed himself. Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever throws himself down from a mountain and kills himself will be in the Fire of Hell, throwing himself down therein for ever and ever. Whoever takes poison and kills himself, his poison will be in his hand and he will be sipping it in the Fire of Hell for ever and ever. Whoever kills himself with a piece of iron, that piece of iron will be in his hand and he will be stabbing himself in the stomach with it in the Fire of Hell, for ever and ever.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5442; Muslim, 109. . |
Re: Appeal Court Allows Hijab In Lagos Primary And Secondary Schools by Nobody: 2:07pm On Jul 25, 2016 |
AbuTwins:then explain to me and everyone else why your brothers in seem to think that killing people of other religion even if they have to kill themselves too will give.them seven virgins. Instead of you to think of how to call your brothers to order and reformat their brains you are here quoting the Koran, how does that stop.yhe next attack from happening?, how does that make the attacker realise that he is on the wrong track?,you Muslims come online every time to defend Islam only for another attack to happen which contradicts the peace you preach. Don't tell me or convince people, they have eyes and can see for themselves, tell your brothers to stop killing people, people in Europe live in fear skeptical of their Muslim neighbors, no one knows who is the next attacker or where the next attack will be, your people are the problem and they are the ones who need this particular quote you made, not me, so direct it to the right people |

Re: Appeal Court Allows Hijab In Lagos Primary And Secondary Schools by udatso: 8:29am On Jul 27, 2016 |
excanny:It's uniform. But different stroke for different folks. Do girls wear the same uniform as boys? They are different yet still called uniform. So what's the problem here? BTW if you are more knowledgeable than these 'crackhead judges' , why aren't you the one passing the judgement? Take a look at this image
|
Re: Appeal Court Allows Hijab In Lagos Primary And Secondary Schools by excanny: 9:23am On Jul 27, 2016 |
udatso: Yes, boys and girls wear different styles of the same uniform, because nature made us a bit biologically different. But religion came millions of years after nature. So it cannot be used as a marker to differentiate people. A Muslim girl is not different biologically from a Buddhist or Christian girl, so they should not wear different uniforms. |
Re: Appeal Court Allows Hijab In Lagos Primary And Secondary Schools by lielbree: 10:21am On Jul 27, 2016 |
udatso:In some areas yes! Besides we are a secular nation. Why bring religion into govt school? What if Christians start covering theory hair with gele to school as they do to church and also wearing church outfits? |
Re: Appeal Court Allows Hijab In Lagos Primary And Secondary Schools by udatso: 10:39am On Jul 27, 2016 |
lielbree:Good. Then take it to court and ensure that the use of vehicles in such area is banned Besides we are a secular nation. That's why preventing Muslims from using hijab was difficult for a competent court to do BTW what is the meaning of secular nation to you? Why bring religion into govt school?Cos Nigerian constitution recognises and respectS religions What if Christians start covering theory hair with gele to school as they do to churchGo ahead and do what you will as long as the court grant you your wish and also wearing church outfits?I always laugh at this? What is church outfit? Which of the churches determines the outfit ? Cele? Deeper life. .....? Where is it in the Bible? The mistake you guys always make is that you always assume hijab is similar to your Christian dress(whatever that means). Do you wear your Christian dress morning afternoon and night? In the farms, market, on journey, everywhere? Do you even wear it in your parent's house? Hijab is a necessity, trying to fight Muslims after they Have followed due process and have been granted their wish after 2 years of struggle is highly intolerant of you. |
Re: Appeal Court Allows Hijab In Lagos Primary And Secondary Schools by udatso: 10:51am On Jul 27, 2016 |
excanny:So why can't it also be modified since the use of hijab always is a necessity for Muslims. because nature made us a bit biologically different. But religion came millions of years after nature. But it doesn't change the fact that religion has a major role to play in a secular nation. If we both agree to this, then equity (fairness) should apply here and not equality (sameness) So it cannot be used as a marker to differentiate people.Says who? A Muslim girl is not different biologically from a Buddhist or Christian girl, so they should not wear different uniforms. It isn't all about biology, I gave you that example of male and female so you would know that just like biology made it a necessity for the uniforms to be modified so can religion |

udatso: It's not a neccessity under the Nigerian constitution and it does aid learning in anyway. So it's useless.
Religion has no role to play in getting an education. Good teachers, conducive classrooms, good books and school rules. Those are what are needed.
No need to modify uniform because of religion. That's stu-pid. Do you know how many uniforms we will have if we do that. Cele uniform, Catholic uniform, Jehovah's Witness Uniform, Wahabi Islam uniform, Shiite Uniform, etc. Thats nonsense as you can see. |
