It can be translated as awaiting evaluation which means not yet decided or settled; awaiting conclusion or confirmation.

Dear pacesetter042,

Sorry for your friend. I am not an expert in Turkish Scholarships so, I have no idea about why he is rejected. But when you apply for a scholarship you should always consider that institutions take thousands of applications every year and somebody must be rejected. Bad luck.

In your case as I mentioned before, Değerlendirme Bekliyor can be translated as awaiting evaluation which means not yet decided or settled; awaiting conclusion or confirmation. Results will be announced in August for those invited for interview.I would like to inform you that reject letter has been sent to most of those who werent invited for Interview. I have seen evidences.

I had applied for Turkey scholarships 2016-2107 for PHD program. on June 3rd My Interview was conducted in Turkish Embassy Islamabad Pakistan. After my interview my Application status changed to "Pending Review" , it remained for about 24-27 days and after that from past few days it has changed to "Degerlendirme Bekliyor" which means "expects rating" as google translated it. I want to know that what does it exactly mean and how much chances are there to get successful in securing Scholarship? and what is next step after this ? today is 29th July and few people are suggesting that results will be announced in coming week. This is not the Nigerian Federal Govt Bilateral scholarship with Turkish Govt. I applied for this scholarship through their ( Turkish scholarship) site sometime in February and they had up to 95,000 applicants from 127 countries worldwide after which 5,000 scholars will be chosen.

my name is parveen gul, i have been interviewed for turkey scholarship on 20th of april in Afghanistan, we were told that we will be contacted after 2 months now nearly its about 4 months that i haven't heard anything from scholarship providers. What the hell they are doing my friend told me that all scholarships of 2016 have been cancelled if this is true then why is turkey scholarship providers playing with us. it is disgusting .
