The truth is Nigerian police know what to do if no "power that be, is interested in the case.

I still remember vividly what Wole Soyinka said at Liberty stadium Ibadan when Bola Ige's corpse was brought there before he wad eventually taken to Esa Oke . He said "those who killed Bola Ige are here with us and they are happy to see his corpse". The likes of Obasanjo ,Babangida and others were in the stadium on that day. Obasanjo should have unraveled the mystery if truly he didn't know anything about it.
The next person I'll like the I.G. to open his case is Dele Giwa. I want to know WHO KILLED DELE GIWA. After all, the prime suspect (Babangida) is no longer in power and he can't do anything if his secret is revealed. Yoruba people say twenty years pounded yam can still be very hot.

very funny case, it's not up to a month this case was reopened now they already have two suspects after more than 10 years. This govt is trying to blackmail some persons with this case, but they aren't smart.

I think it's now a kind of professional job in Nigeria to hold in detention some individuals for one crime or the other that they did not commit... after all the media hullabaloo, guymen are released to go enjoy their "pay" in peace and quiet. When I see Nigerians falling over themselves I just shake my head. If you know who a typical Nigerian politician is, you ll see they don't deserve all the honour we give them. A typical picture is what you see playing out before, during & after the elections in River state. Human life has no value to them.
