patches689: first france will never start a war against algeria ! it will lose a lot if we talk only about the 6 million of algerians (known for their hot blood) who live in france . and in the political side their is the russian and chinese support ! also france will lose a lot in economic because algeria is his first customer . also south europe use the algérian gaz . + the strait of gibraltar is near us starting a war in this area will have world economic repercussion 2nd for the military side , you talk about the SCALP (french name of the storm shadow) it's not that easy to target a mobile and hidden system with lure and protected in a complexe system S-300 PMU-2 ( Pantsir , BukM2 , TorM2 ect.. at a max vigilance, and max mobile and hide manoeuvre , and from (500 km max théoric range ) if rafale or mirage try to get close and entered our airspace they would fall like flies + the sukhoi 30mka are here also and not only for defense , and for the naval attack you forget the coastal defense and most important that algeria have 4 submarines kilo 636 with two others how will be delivred soon , in case of political tension and war the kilo will be in war situation swimming under the méditareneen sea , i don't think french navy will take the risk of getting too close like they do in libya without nowing were are our submarines . + the SCALP naval version called by french ( MdCN) was ready only this year and is operational only in one fregate . for the two (scalp and MdCN ) french army havn't a lot of quantity of them to lanch alone an attack against a big cuntry like algeria . and also britich navy who develloped the program SCALP with french choose the US tomahowk . and we are not talking about wining a total war against a powerful worl army or invade france or algeria , Algeria has the means to make any aggressor (NATO also) pay the price (military, economic, politic) , the goal of muscle its air defense is that this price will be to high that no aggressor will consider to attack you at this price . a kind of deterrence 3 Likes 1 Share |

africaken254: Those tanks are enigma in the world tank community. They are purportedly on the bleeding edge of Chinese tank design, incorporating many features from the Type 99 as well as some new features (which gives the 96B the distinction from 96G) which means that they could be complete game changers... or absolute sh1t like the Type 96A (see its performance in the tank biathlon against T72B's for reference). Really interested to see how they do. Also really hoping China will simplify their classification system because I cant keep track of this sh1t anymore. |

chkil: Im not denying that the war would not be costly for France. But if it came to a full blown conflict the French would win without doubt. The only question is how much blood and iron they have to pay. |

africaken254: Your armed forces are equipped based on threat analysis (foreign and domestic) right ? & I'm sure you agree. Mexico is not in the same type of "neighborhood" as Nigeria. The height of their problems are drug dealers and smugglers while on our side we have terrorist who shoot down planes and are willing to blow themselves up because they want to establish their own country inside our country Have you seen Mexican federal police ? They are like soldiers, so militarized, why? Because it fits the chanlenges they face. Don't compare Nigerian armed forces and Mexico's, there are no basis to do so, it's like compraring the IDF and beguims forces. |

bidexiii: Yes...... I see this assembled everyday in my dreams. Anyway, the truth is, i have never wished for the Nigerian military to be as large as that of Egypt, and would active support a protest if it ever gets even 1/3 of the size of that of Egypt. I mean, public utilities and infrastructure would suffer, I know for sure that the money Egypt uses to service it's military if used for public amenities can provide a standard of living similar to what the Jordanians have. |

jakeporeshenko: I know the fighter pilot, from the Sallah NAF bombing operations photos the Air Force released. He was one of two(2) pilots who flew combat sorties that day. *Anyway in the future please try not to individually identify the operators, it's a major security risk. Thanks bro! |
