Injustice is when a nation rip-off a particular region to establish some cities outside the region of resources... and when the ripped region cries, they say you're stupid.

God be the judge

Abuja looks like Dubai.

The oil money has been well invested not stolen by government officials and politicians.

Sarcasm alert for the literate.

Do perm secs, governors, directors, managers and other politicians not steal ?

You could tell that Abuja itself lacks enough power to power the city. The city itself isn't that bad, just that developmentment is taking too long especially with scarce resources.

OP is definitely on one of those twin tower high rises, near the Dome. Not exactly a nice view though because the area is under construction anyway.

Op did you take this pic on a Sunday morning? See how the roads are deserted.
that was on Saturday. Maybe no fuel to buy

First off, you picked the wrong part of town to take a night skyline image of. Second, you have not used proper photographic methods in capturing the night time images.

People often think photography is just the act of clicking a shutter.

What ISO settings did you use? What shutter speed was used? If you can't answer, then you wouldn't be able to capture that wallpaper looking image you were hoping for.
No need for any setting-up. If I didn't need that in the day pictures, then I shouldn't need it for the night pictures either. Besides, I was standing at a very high level.

Re: Day And Night Pictures Of Abuja Satellite area by autodoctor: 6:11am On Jul 27, 2016
Abuja is still under construction after 35 years of existence. I think we still need 215 more years to catch up. After all it took The USA 250 years to get to where they are now (as the politicians would say).

Onli someone who hasn't visited Abuja would say Lagos is better than ABJ.
Make Una no d spill trash for here. No hard feelings lagosians buh Lagos city can never be compared with ABJ.

I based in Lagos but visit abuja every months. I will tell you, it will take 30 years for Abuja to catch up with Lagos in terms of development especially in private sector.

Have you been to VI, EKO, New cities Banana Island, There is even new Bar beach project going on. No developed place like VI in Abuja.

But I can see the replica of Ikoyi in abuja.

Lagos is miles ahead.

Abuja is clean, Lagos has many slums, Oshodi, Obalende, Agege
Organized and quiet and fast developing. Lagos is developing faster (I mean extention and construction of new cities).

Lagos is even more developed. Lagos is extending and claiming Land in the Ocean...Building more cities as extensions.

Ambode no dey help matter too. I was at Obalende yesterday. That guy is rebranding Obalende. I was surprised.

Oshodi slum is another project Ambode is planning.
