Testimony 1
On my thur antenatal, I asked doc if I'll recognise real labour as all I'm getting is strong BH that doesn't move forward; he just smiled and said I'll know. Meanwhile fri 22 was my edd. I went home a bit sad, but later decided to cheer myself up. Went to market, got foodstuff, came back and cooked Afang (courtsey of liftedhands and her naughty sis-inlaw). Later dh n i kpekused n planed another one for fri night. But by fri afternoon, I started having strong contractions Bh? real labour? I continued with my activities n it got stronger by evening. dh no talk of kpekus again, jus asking me if we r to head to d hospital. I said I can manage till morning, so I can check if this is real. Around 2 am, i saw d show, was very happy, started singing n praising God. All this while, the contractions were painless, just uncomfortable when it comes. Around 4 am, it was now more regular, 7 mins apart. I woke dh up and we started preparing. Left d house around 5.30, got to d hospital by 6 n they started thr protocol. Pay 4 folder, go thr, go here. I was jus walking around d premises n dh was going everywhere.
Finally they checked me ard 7.35 and said 5 cm dilated. see happiness. they gave me a bed, asked me to lie on my left side. I started gistig with oda women thr, those that hav delivered n thos about 2 deliver. Some of d nurses will come over n ask me if I was sure that I was in labour, ha I wil ans yes n will continue massaging my back waist anytime d contractns hit. Doc came n checkd ard 10 and i asked him if i was progressing. he said my contractions weren't strong enough. I asked how many cm n he said 5 cm. Fear catch me small. Ah an, 5 cm still, i became a little depressed. By the 10.45, he checked again said they shd augument my labour with oxytocin. I heard him telling d junior doc 10 drops a min. I was down n called dh to go home with d kids. He didn't want to but I convinced to take d kids home, bath them n take them to my parents house, n come back later.

After one hour, the doc didn't believe i was having contraction as i continued gistg. It was coming but not painful.. d man jus told them to double d tin, 20 drops a min. Na den i see chomtin. I told my lo n God, this wasn’t d plan o. I’ve neva had oxytocin in my previous births. Labour has progressed on its own until baby comes. I told dem(lo n God) to help me move dis one forward.D contractions were now stronger n closer together. All my practised breathing techniques flew out d window. I couldn't control myself again. I started moaning, groaning, graduated to shouting anytime it hit. I begged dem to remove the drip n they refuse - "contractn is now stronger o, come n remove tis tin now" dey no mind me at all. I looked at dat white tin on drip with red bulb wit evil eye n said, if only i studied medicine small, even 4 5mins, i'll turn tin off by myself, chai. it was 2 mins apart. by 12.30pm, i couldn't take it again. i jumped down frm d bed, they shouted at me, "i want to wee" dey brough a bucket. after d wee, i couldn't climb. one of d nurses helped me back on the bed. but i jus couldn't lie down. it was as if my waist was about to burst n i was trying so hard not to push. one of d nurses den checked me "oh, no wonder she dey behave like tis, u r almost 10cm, oya come".
na so they took me to d deliveru bed and after 2 pushes my 2.8kg prince charming came out with small tear. I was cleaned up n one of nurses asked if i wan call me my dh n i said yes. She brought my phone n i gave dh d good news.

Testimony 2
Later in day, my dh told me a story that chilled my bones. As he left with kids, the car developed a fault on d road. He tried to mange it home but it wasn’t possible. He took a bike wt our girls and nearly got hit by a car. The bike man hit d breaks with speed and swerved n they all fell down - on d tarred road. According to dh my little princess was coming down on her forehead so he stretched himself with d bike on on his leg n caught her in midair. My first princess was already on d ground with some scarctches, and d car man jus turned and ran away in full speed. Frm what he told me this exactly d time i was pushing out our boy. My brothers n sisters, aprt from some minor bruise an scratche, mainly on dh, everyone is fine, in perfect health. I just looked at him after d story n said “can’t u see dat truly, d hand of God is upon our lives.” (dh had wanted me 2 chnge d igbo name i gav our boy).
Anyway, I’m home now with my family n right now tears r wellg up in my eyes cause I can’t believe that God can love someone so much d way He loves me. Pls help me thank d Great I AM, for all his wonders, mercy n grace on my family.
I pray 4 easy peasy, supernatural delivery for d remaining waddling mamas.

September mamas, how are we all doing? Looking forward to us all dropping our LOs back to back. I plan to start my leave sept 1st so i could rest from my work stress. @Captain Sugar, weldone with the good works. EDD kept changing o, latest was 16th, from LMP was 26th.

i am very worried. Am 17weeks and i can not feel my baby kicks. but when i went for my 1st ANC i saw tru the scan the baby was moving. dat was 16weeks. What can i do ? my Next ANC is on thursday 4th august pls help me with sum advise
