Still wondering how some of ya'll got 7 and above in writing. I have written ielts twice now (my mistake, wrote the ordinary one first before i found out i needed to write one for UKVI) and i have only managed a 6.5 in the writing. The second one came out nice, 8.5 in both the reading and listening and 7.0 in the speaking. Anyways, Just tot i should add a few more tips.
Also if you are applying to study in a UK university, Please register for IELTS for UKVI instead oo.. It is more expensive and only online payment is accepted (last time i checked)

But do other European/Autralian schools accept UKVI?

I think they do. The UKVI things is just a way for the British Embassy to extort more money. Ask your school and they will tell you but i am pretty sure they will accept it.

Yes, you will need your passport to be able to write the exam. Also if you are going there to school, you will need to write the Academic. I don't know what you mean by 'wanna work over there' but for any other thing, you can take the Academic.

Listening 8.5
Reading 8.5
Writing 7.0
Speaking 7.5

It was really easy thanks to God so dont panic.
People may have had bad results but just tell yourself that your case will be different.
Practice and understand the model for writing at ieltsbuddy.com i just looked at it a night to my test and I scored well. I dont know what I would have done if I didnt. Thank God.

Overall it was a great. and thank God for it.

Hi y'all, I didn't put any address of any organization where I want my results to go while registering for the IELTS, now I need to send my results to a school in th UK urgently as I await my results on Thursday. Please how do I go about it without paying British Council to send my results to the School? I learned they can send result to five different organization for free. Please it's very urgent!

How does one check/preview IELTS Life Skills A1 Test result? I did one on the 14th of July, 2016 but their website: https://ielts.britishcouncil.org/CheckResults.aspx does not recognise my details. Meanwhile, i have used this same link in the past to preview my IETLS General Test and it went well.

I suspect there is a disconnect somewhere. I have called their useless telephone line several times with no headway.

I hope someone here can point me in the right direction.

Got my IETLS results now
Listening 8.0
Reading 6.5
Writing 7.0
Speaking 6.5
Overall band score 7.0 good to go

To those planning to take the test, it's pretty easy.. Just calm down...
I prepared for just 2days and went online ieltsbuddy.com and also YouTube is good place to study.
