Whatever it is, jobs have been created. With or without notice, it doesn't matter. It's his business. If you dont like it, open yours and employ your family people. If they don't run your business down then good for you.
50 people have been removed from job market, even if those 50 were from his mothers womb.
All rich men borrow. Even Dangote owes more money than you can ever imagine. If you have no worth nobody would lend you a kobo.

Nigerians youths and criticism... Every single thing a person does would be severely criticised. Even if the person does nothing, all that is needed is to just mention the name of the person online, and then our bad belle filled youths would begin to pour out their frustration on the person.

Awesome news, it would bring much needed life to the place. Shoprite and Game were the only busy shops the last time I was there.

Common sense will tell you that with the failure of the federal and state governments in providing for the citizens, the private sector needs to take up the task. Despite the difficulties that these guys are facing in their businesses, they keep marching on, knowing fully well the number of families that depend on them for their daily bread. The likes of Dangote who's losing billions of dollars due to the comatose Naira (but still keeps setting up refineries) and Ben Murray Bruce with his problems with AMCON need to be applauded and encouraged.

Government does not necessarily provide jobs. They provide the enabling environment for entrepreneurship.

This guy is yet to open an outlet in bayelsa,and yet he is a senator from the state,heck this a-hole havent in any way tried to invest anything single thing to bayelsa,this is the problem the state is facing.people that have dont want to help the state to grow its mentality of the citizenry,i hate this guy with a passion and every other ijaw bastarddd that is wealthy but dont want to develop the state.including GEJ.

Ignorance. Jabi Lake is a private backed investment by the PE group Actis. Silverbird Cinemas is a tenant just like others there.

Moreover, building cinemas isn't a developmental project, it's business. Ben need not open his cinemas in Bayelsa as it'll be economically unviable.

Good one Sen. Ben Bruce. I only wish that you extend your job creating venture to your home state. It is so sad that Bayelsa state does not have any cinema nor entertainment center. I'm sure the residents there will appreciate it. Just saying tho.... Congrats to all those who got the jobs.

I don't know why some comments totally lacks common sense, he opened a new cinema and some are saying he should start showing only Nigerian movies and these are the same people who will never watch Nigeria movies because of their poor productions.
