why are gases more easily compressed than liquids? please help me out before my exam.Waitinggggggggg

because they move freely about and are not fixed to a spot like liquid. so they dont actually occupy a particular space.

Um I think it's because there is space between its molecules and it moves freely unlike liquid.


Xo it can easily be compressed to fit into any container since its molecules are alredi spacious.

Explorers pls come nd epp explain it better.

Gaseous molecules are lighter in mass and more widely spread than molecules in liquids.
