Medicine after death, best solution - desist from Indonesia, Nigeria is far better. Be it business or drugs pls just stay away coz u might be framed for being Nigerian alone.

I tell you.

I am not against their laws but I am against the idea that you ve to beat an innocent man to confess something he never did. I think the execution would ve been justified if they re in possession of the physical drug. To me any naija in that country is on his own cos if they couldn't catch there target the will use you as a replacement

One of the ten to be executed, a woman, claimed she was duped into becoming a drug mule. At least yet, she is alive.

So why wasn't his evidence brought to light at the heat of his trial? Why wait till now after his execution to claimed he was framed?

That lawyer is insane.

RIP Jefferson Humphrey Ejike Eleweke

Humphrey Jefferson Ejike Eleweke, Nigeria

Jefferson, then a restaurant owner, was arrested in 2003 after police found 1.7kg of heroin in a room used by one of his employees. He was sentenced to death in 2004 and had until this week declined to ask for presidential clemency as it would entail seeking forgiveness for a crime of which he said he was innocent. His lawyers say there is evidence that he was framed.

In all this I'll not blame the Indonesia government. Our media is not doing enough job. If an American citizen is arrested in any country you'll the news will surface immediately and American Gov will start looking into the case and to ensure they are not vindicated of what they know not.
Meanwhile not until now of the prosecution before we Nigerians heard about it. It's now that this case is suddenly a news. So are you saying if the judgment was life imprisonment that's how we won't remember him for life?
We definitely have no excuse, Nigeria as a country don't protect its citizens.
Do you know how many Nigerians are in prison all over the world for a crime they know not?
It's only when they are about to die we can get to know. That's very bad of the media we have in this country.
So whatever have to be done was supposed to be done earlier than now.
I don't see any agency fighting against illegal imprisonment of Nigerians in foreign countries. So blame your country and not Indonesia for not taking action as at when due.

I respect American till today and I'll do all I can to become a citizen of America. God help me.
This country is a pure joke.

Reading this news keeps bringing tears to my eyes. Someone's Father and husband has been murdered without given a fair hearing. I don't think anyone should take a life he didn't create, but God knows all. TheGood Joe, keep it up but I just hope you would do this for other tribes and not condemn like some chaps here do. These are our brothers and sisters from another mother but some folks don't see it that way. Keep up the good job but remember not to be sentimental.

I don't pity the flathe.ad. He most likely is a drug dealer. The statistic is against him.

If you follow the story well, to my understanding, the guy(victim) ran a restaurant in Indonesia. He employed some Nigerians and gave them accommodation, in the same house he ran his business they leave there. Now some drug dealers were traced to one of the employed guys (who is still at large) . this later made the authorities to comb the house, and found some drugs in the apartment.
Now the owner of the restaurant, was arrested, and accused of running drug cartel with his business.
He denied owning the drug or involved in it. Eventually, it was not accepted. This led to what we have now.
Be the judge your self.

Really? Who are you to say it was without fair hearing? The law is the law. You break it, you pay. This is rich coming from a Nigerian who is used to injustice talking about fair hearing. Lol. Jefferson was not dealing with Nigerians where you can bribe, cajole, threaten or blackmail your way out of justice. You call it murder, normal people call fair and equitable justice. I am against death penalty for any crime, but if it is the law, then guess what? It is the law.

They cannot do anything...even if Buhari's son or relative was involved.

When the Australian and the Brazillian were shot...beforehand their governments did all they could...and the Indonesians just ignored them. Even the Presidential appeal from the then Brazillian president did not move them

Indonesia does execute its citizens caught drug trafficking...

Good example...Zainal Abidin bin Mgs Mahmud Badarudin

Badarudin was the only Indonesian citizen amongst the group. He was born in Palembang and was found guilty of the possession of 129lb of marijuana.
He was arrested in December 2000 and a year later was given the death sentence. His appeal for clemency was rejected in January 2015.

No it is not. The reason why such stories must be told is to help prevent such occurrences in the future.

By the public outcry this will bring, other innocent lives may be saved.

Definitely. This is not about tribe. This is about the truth. We need stories like this out because when these people get an innocent Nigerian in the situation, they do not care if he is Ibo, Yoruba or Hausa.

We only have ourselves to protect us. That is why I am against any form of bigotry.

BIGOTRY BLINDS THE TRUTH.

Don't bring Yoruba or Hausa into this. When it concerns your people, you remember the other tribes. When it's Yoruba, you kick them.

Yorubas don't go to Indonesia, **** to deal drugs
