This year is the 20th anniversary of Nigeria's Olympic gold at Atlanta 96, men's football win. It was a stunning achievement and the first of its kind by an African country. We defeated Argentina in the final. Some of our heroes, who distinguished themselves were Dosu Joseph, Nwankwo Kanu, Jay Jay Okocha, Sunday Oliseh and Taribo West among others. The team was led by Dutchman, Bonfere Jo. The gold medal was won on this day in 1996 Do you remember where you were and how you felt? Share your thoughts.
