Behind every great fortune lies a great crime. Arepo raid is just the Begining. The north has began to diversify from the Niger Delta in anticipation of Nigeria's impending Balkanization. If you don't believe me, then ask why Dangote is sighting his oil refinery in Lagos and far away from the Niger Delta? Dangote as a major global heavy weight has first hand purview on Nigeria's impending collapse as one soverign Nation. The powers that be are tired of a one united and confused Nigeria and they have drawn up plans to ensure Nigeria's soverign unity comes to an end. This is why they were searching for crude in Lagos and the boko ravaged NE. Now that Lagos is set to be an oil producing state, the North want their cut and by their cut I mean all the oil wells in the southwest. The military crackdown in Lagos and Ogun isn't to dislodge criminals and vandals but to permanently relocate the indigenes away from their land. That was the job of boko haram in the north east to displace the Christian and animist people of their land so that the caliphate will have exclusive rights to the oil reserves in the northeast. I suspect there is some oil within that Ogun -Lagos axis and the north wants it. This is why they deployed over 10 military jets and choppers to bomb so-called militant hide out. It will take maybe the next 10yrs give or take a year or two for your average Southwest zombie to understand and realize what I just wrote here. You can dismiss all I posted as hogwash conspiracy for all I care, but your average billionaire doesn't enter the club for doing nice things but rather from exploiting people and society at large. Dangote made his money through govt granted and guaranteed monopoly importing trash rice from India that was about to be destroyed being that most of it wasn't fit for human consumption. I just dey pity SW . The oil never begin flow and Hausa /Fulani are already hacking you to death over it. 4 Likes |

Ogogoro
Ogogoro (Ogog') is a west African alcoholic drink,
usually brewed locally. It is most popular in
Nigeria, where it is known as the country's
homebrew.[1] It is also known as akpeteshie
(especially in Ghana), Sapele water, Kparaga, kai-
kai, Sun gbalaja, Egun inu igo meaning The
Masquerade in the Bottle, push-me-push-you,
and/or crim-kena, Sonsé ("do you do it?" in
Yoruba language). Other Nigerian epithets
include: ufofob [Calabar], robirobi [Abeokuta],
baba erin [Ilesha], eyinbo gò (white man is not
smarter), majidun, etonto [Pidgin English], wuru
[Ijaw], Udi Ogagan and Agbakara [Benin] and Aka
mere, Agbagba [Urhobo], as well OHMS (Our
Home Made Stuff), Iced Water, Push Me, I Push
You and Craze man in the bottle.[2]
Properties and preparation
Ogogoro is distilled from the juice of Raffia palm
trees; an incision is made in the trunk and a
gourd placed outside it for collection, which is
collected a day or two later. After extraction, the
sap is boiled to form steam, which subsequently
condenses and is collected for consumption.
The active ingredient in ogogoro is ethanol,
whose concentration within the drink is very
high; the alcohol content of local ogogoro ranges
between 30-60%. Coupled with the fact that it is
often home-brewed by amateurs, the drink can be
extremely dangerous. Indeed, it is said that
hundreds die every year from improperly brewed
ogogoro or other such drinks.[3]
Social significance
As drink and commodity, respectively, ogogoro
carries substantial cultural and economic
significance within Nigeria. It is an essential part
of numerous religious and social ceremonies;
Burutu ( Ijaw) priests pour it onto the ground as
offerings to contact their gods, while fathers of
Nigerian brides use it as a libation by which they
provide their official blessing to a wedding.
The economic facets of ogogoro have been
equally salient throughout recent Nigerian
history. Many poor Nigerian families homebrew
the drink as a means of economic subsistence,
many of whom sell shots of it on city street
corners. The criminalization of ogogoro which
occurred under the colonial regime is also
believed to have been largely economic; while the
public justifications for the law regarded public
health and Christian beliefs regarding alcohol, it
has been argued that colonial officials were also
seeking to suppress local economic activity
which might draw money or labor away from the
colonial system.
