I have been a religious user of the MTN data subscription and was on the N2,000 data plan(3.5g) until it expired last week.
I proceeded to subscribe to the N1000 (1.5g) on Thursday which I had not even touched, then I received a notification of the wow bonus on Friday. I then did an additional subscription of N500 which gave 1g and a WOW bonus of 3.75g. On checking my data balance, I had a total of 2.5g on my main account to expire in October and then a WOW weekend bonus of 5.12g to expire midnight of 31st of July. But to my utmost surprise, MTN HAS BEEN DEDUCTING MY MAIN BALANCE OF 2.5g INSTEAD OF THE BONUS WHICH IS GOING TO EXPIRE AT THE END OF THIS WEEKEND. I HAVE CALLED THEIR CUSTOMER CARE SEVERAL TIMES, switched of my data and phone severally....... I have just been scammed!!!!

If yes pls indicate, if no, then I guess no one should patronize the so called wow weekend ish except for those that really need to download heavy stuffs

I can testify that it's a pure scam, I got the wow data message yesterday and I immediately bought 5oonaira recharge card and got nothing, they were deducting from my 1.5gb which I subbed with 1k. As if that was not enough, I got the message that I should buy 750 mb with 5oonaira and I will be given free 3.75 gb, I bought 5oonaira card and subbed again. The stupid mtn just text me that I have successfully subbed for 750 mb one week plan and I wasn't given any 3.75gb. .. in fact ehn I just dey vex since

Same here. I got the SMS on subscribing to 3.5g for 2k and getting 17g weekend bonus. I did but the bonus was never credited. CC kept promising to rectify it. All turned out wash.
