Team16:

Why don't you go to VFS and discuss with them to see what they'll say.

Thanks Team16, think we ll do that cos we can't rely on email from them alone..

thanks Skiiiwalker my person. doe I have two friends that submitted in June and got final response in June too(denial). But don't they approve and ask one to defer to a later resumption? finally is it true dat they attend to applications based on the proximity of applicants' resumption dates irrespective of date of application?

i don't know, but its highly possible they may process according to the date of resumption... plus they are just unpredictable, every case is just different and they keep changing their ways

Your application can be linked even before you get medical call. Just enter your information as contained on your application form. Your date of birth, your passport number etc. Do not use the option that requires your application number or UCI number. You already have an application number. Just link your application and you will get a mail from CIC containing your application number.

Just because you've registered an account on cic website or GCKEY doesn't mean you will receive emails from CIC regarding the status of your application. Except you link your application to the account that you created, you won't receive any email from CIC except medical request and when a final decision has been made. Infact in some instances, you may not even get an email from CIC even when your application has been approved. You can only track your application via vfs website.
@Yemdogg thanks very much for this info really appreciate.

according to what I've read on this thread , there's no harm in linking after submission(linked mine after submission).. If there's any info left out on that case maybe @yemdogg & @Michv should elaborate on d issue....

if you don't link, you will get updates via E-mails from CIC , the moment you link the application , you stop receiving emails...

for me , its not by linking or not linking, if CIC wants to get across to you, you will get the message either ways...

Once more. If you are preparing to travel and need affordable air tickets, pm me.

I'm heading to Toronto and got my ticket for 267k. Someone should please check the price of getting to Toronto on Google.

My fellow jjc(I'm one too), some provinces have more than one airport, check which is most convenient for you before purchasing.

who is your sponsor? Third-party sponsor could be Uncle, Cousin or Brother. This time, include your sponsor (I believe is your brother) birth certificate and your birth certificate to show both of you share same parents (That's the sufficient evidence). Pay ur school fees. Boost ur account to up to 3m. Then reapply.
