This is, by no means, a direct attack on any political party. It is based on objective observation. If you doubt them, google will help you to establish the veracity of my claims.

These are the areas where Buhari's government has failed hopelessly since he became the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria;

1. Electric Power Sector

2. Road Construction and Rehabilitation

3. Sports Development

4. Banking Sector

5. Employment Generation

6. Stimulation of Foreign Direct Investments

7. Manufacturing and Technological Development

8. Petroleum Production, Refining and Provision

9. Youth Development

10. National Economic Development

11. Intra-Ethnic Cohesion among Nigerians i.e. Tribalism

12. Protection of Lives and Properties (Especially in Southern Nigeria)

13. Protection of Freedom of Speech

14. Upholding the Rule of Law

15. Sustenance of Separation of Power

16. Decline in Educational Sector

17. Empowerment of Women

18. Religious Tolerance Among Nigerians

19. Holistic Elimination of Corruption in Nigeria i.e. Many Corrupt Party Faithfuls Are Free From Prosecution

20. Sustenance of the Agricultural Revolution

Using the word since buhari came in is wrong. . Does Nigeria even have a research and development agency? Most of these sectors/ministries are just there before.

Jobs!
(millions of jobs lost due to failed policies; thousands of families destroyed)

Central bank's autonomy
(monetary policy is now being controlled by Buhari; announcement made by Garba Shehu)

University autonomy
(federal universities boards can be arbitrarily dismissed)

Unity in the polity
(severe tribal/ethnic distrust not seen since the civil war; all the gains of integration policies since the end civil war eroded in 1 year)

Food food food
(Nigeria is in famine for the first time ever; households are experiencing severe pangs of hunger; parents now pawn their children while some rent babies for food)

GDP
(negative GDP growth for two quarters; second quarter's numbers being awaited)

Life expectancy
(people drop dead at an alarming rate; security forces trained to defend civilians now kill same people in hundreds; cattle rearers kill wantonly; suicide rate is unprecedented)

Human dignity
(begging for alms by able-bodied men is alarming)

Media independence
(media now blackout government's negative side until foreign media and social media step in; e.g. severe malnutrition and deaths in IDP camps in the north east were ignored till the UN raised the alarm)

Fair hearing
(corruption related accused are deemed guilty as charged or without charge; trials are carried out in the media)

Civil service efficiency
(the civil service's ability to implement the simplest of things has deteriorated unimaginably; simple tasks like budget preparation is now so so difficult)

The Nigerian soccer team to the Olympics are as of Tuesday August 2nd stuck in Atlanta because chartered flight that is suppose to fly them to Brazil has not been paid. The team who had been training in Atlanta, in preparation for the Olympics were meant to have flown out last Friday, after the Nigerian community in Atlanta turned out to give the team a send-forth.

It was learnt Nigerian Football Federation is responsible for booking the tickets for the team to travel, but we heard there is a logistical mix-up with payments,” a source close to the Nigeria Football Federation revealed. “The money paid by the ministry for the charter flight did not hit airline’s account on Tuesday, so they refused to fly the team to Brazil.”

They are now scheduled to leave the southern American city of Atlanta on August 3rd, and be ready for their first game the next night against Japan on Thursday at 9 p.m. ET in Manaus, an isolated city in the Amazon rainforest.

Lately, The NFF have been rocked with series of negative news ranging from coaches resigning because of salary payments, the national junior team refusing to play because payment demands has not been met, and the organization’s lack of financial support during the burial of former soccer player and National coach Stephen Keshi who recently passed away.
