heard he so much favoured the muslim candidates in unilorin. So many christians were denied admission. I personally know of one who scored 240 in lamb and 70 in postutme but wasn't admitted to a less competitive course but rather a muslim with a low score was admitted.

oga let's stop all these lies now, I was admitted to Unilorin, the first time ever I stepped in Ilorin in my life was after I gained admission,I didn't know anybody and nobody helped me for admission runs.my state was not even among the catchment areas. And I did studied Biosystems engineering!

The day he came to walk way,he was checking notice board at block 1 and I was on the pavement and quickly adjusted my trousers way upwards. Very strict man. People go fail jamb now no be small. When this man was our VC,people failed woefully,he sacked lecturers that were his seniors and those that even thought him for misconduct. I know this man very well,as strict as he was,his children were not among the best students,they were even far from it. His children were my seniors in secondary sch too and I can name them one by one.

I love the fact that he made an impact at Unilorin. My grouse against Ishaq Oloyede is his role at that MURIC. He shamelessly followed former Zamfara governor to Al Jazeera to disgrace Nigeria by defending Yerima's decision to marry a 13 year old child. He was so shameless in defending the paedophilic act of Yerima. In fact he was crying more than the accused, accusing Nigerians of trying to deny Yerima his right to marry whoever he chose and his Islamic right. It was very shameful. I know he is a fanatic and let us expect that Arabic would be one of the languages Jamb will use to set questions.

He is not corrupt
He always strive to restore dignity to a society. If you merit it you get it!
Sanity prevails wherever he heads. He restored sanity to UNILORIN in all ramifications. We staff respected him as VC.
He knows more than in his field. He interviewed a prospective Professor of Engineering and the person was sweating like Christmas goat when he took him up on Nano Technology.
Everyone was marvelled by the degree of knowledge he had on almost anything, including Genetically Modified Food technology, space science and Assisted Reproduction.
His knowledge about computer programming, networking and computer engineering is fantastic.
He demonstrated all these at UNILORIN where he also introduced new courses like Biosystems Engineering, Optometry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Veterinary Medicine, Psychology, Social Work, Peace and Strategic Studies (Master, PhD), Aquaculture and Fisheries, etc.
Oloyede is the man for the job. He is not a religious bigot nor a tribal jingoist. He has one wife, a PhD holder and a Federal Director. He has four (4) children, two are Medical Doctors Latifat and Kehinde, one a lawyer (Taiye) and the last an accountant married to a Medical Doctor from Kano.
He has said it at several fora: "I have never bribed nor collected bribe" So, this is the type of person Nigeria needs now and forever. I also share this attribute of not being corrupt.

One of his children who was studying medicine,was in the same class with someone I know very well but I don't think the guy could cope,upon the fact that his father was VC,he had to drop medicine,Oloyede doesn't favor anybody,not even his children and the funniest thing is even that the guy was my senior in secondary school,he has twins as his last children and they were my seniors. Give it to the man though,he's more brilliant than brilliant itself and a good disciplinarian,the best for jamb right now,he eradicated cultism in Unilorin. His children are gentle boys though and of good conduct,but not as brilliant as the father. The father's academic success is like mario,became a prof in his early 40's. Extraordinarily brilliant man and a disciplinarian. He's someone that can never be bribe,he has no iota of corruption,he's not corrupt at all and yet very principled. People will fail jamb during his time,there would be nothing like malpractice and special centre but he's the best for jamb right now

I can see a lot of people saying all sort of rubbish about the appointment of Prof Is'haq Oloyede, if you know him you won't say such against him. One of the best VC Unilorin ever had.

I can't forget the day he came to Faculty of BSS unannounced, he saw someone cooking with stove in one of the offices. He called the then HOD of Dept. of Business Admin and ask him if the faculty is now a kitchen, you need to see how everyone was shaking. what i am saying in essence is that he is a no nonsense man.

Another Story.

2009 Matriculation, the Chief Cadet Officer then was staying in my villa, after the VC speech at the auditorium the cadet officer guard him out of the hall. Immediately they step out of the Auditorium, on their way to Senate Building he told the cadet officer that he is okay, that the guy can go to his class that he also has some student to lecture. The guy was surprise like on Matriculation day this man is still going to class. What i am saying here is that, he doesn't play with his work, he is not a lazy man.

Another story.

On the day of our Matriculation, 2008 Matric. It was time to recite the National Anthem, everyone one stood up including him ready to recite the anthem. The then Librarian was sitting down, you guys need to see the way he shouted at her, that is he greater than Nigeria. What i am saying here is that he is Disciplinarian.

I am happy about is appointment. He will solve all the problems Prof Dibu couldn't solve. Before i forget the Computer Based Test that is rampant today, he was the first person to test it with Unilorin Post UME 2008.

This is a credible appointment from PMB. Congrats to those that are yet to write Jamb, you'll surely enjoy him. Mind you, days of expo is no more.
