the question i would love to ask Baba should i have the opportunity to meet him one on one is,with the whole situation of employment what has the RCCG done to particularly address this issue? I attend kings palace river province 2 Gra port harcourt around this time last year they demanded a sum of 45million naira for the complete over haul of the church air conditioning unit....people raised this cash,this year last month precisely the church needed 15million for wireless technology equipment for the multimedia department... This last sunday they needed 2.8million for the childrens camp program...all were donated. My question is when has RCCG organized or create a worl wide convention to @least create a network for job creation/employment. How many times have they asked for donation with such huge amount to empower the teaming youth with good business idea,scholarship abroad or equipment and machinery?
Many of the members even contributed money to build a university they cant afford to send there kids to?
God is watching,the real people who are a practical example of christians in Nigeria are the Jehovah witness.

Back in the early days in my village, you would see anglican and methodist churches with schools and health care centres for FREE but to have one on one encounter with Baba Adeboye on his annual visit to ph on the partnering with God program you need to purchase an access invitation card of 20k.... To see a man of God can you imagine. Why are our pastors rich and the majority of the congregation are poor? Something isnt right....it is well with my soul but the church has a more bigger role to play to curb/ even bring to an end the massive poverty in our society or else they would soon become victims of kidnapping...its already happening anyway

I preach the same thing for guys of nowadays, its mostly common with illiterate yorubas and hausas, you see a small boy gets a girl pregnant and the next thing, struggled marriage, they now start struggling to survive and bring innocent children into the world to suffer with them, turning them into hawkers, labourers and all that.
It's so demeaning, i advice a guy should at least get something steady coming in and at least be comfortable a bit before bringing a wife and children into the table.

For me it makes sense that way.... NOT forgetting the wife must also be doing something too and not just a mere parasite

However, there's distinction between being lazy and being unemployed.

The society must balance the fulcrum to make life worthy of living.

Lack of jobs will increase crime rates and abundance of unmarried ladies will increase promiscuity.

So you see it's all common sense! Everyone has a role to play. The government, individuals and even the religious bodies.

You don't know your Bible, WORK was not a curse, LABOUR was, Adam was working, God told him to tend the garden, to keep it and to be incharge of the animals, but after the fall God said his Work will be labour, he will sweat before he eat.

If guys are demanding that the woman must know how to cook and all, Is it not fair that you also find good work to do to take care of the her and the children? If the work no dey, pray and hustle, God go answer if you're serious.

You get married to a supposedly working man, a year into the marriage he got retrenched and couldn't get another for three years, what difference does it make?

I admire your line of thought. I think baba should have focused more on laziness, which is the real nut, rather than an unemployed state which is a temporary condition that can be overturned in one minute.

My cousin got married to a guy who had no job against family objections. That was in 2005. But today the dude is very buoyant financially. About one year and half after marriage he got a job at a multinational company.

So I won't say joblessness, I will say laziness is the virus. When a lazy man who is gainfully employed today loses his sweet job to workplace redundancy tomorrow, that is the beginning of misery for everyone that depends on him financially. He may never recover in his lifetime.

And can the unemployed stop paying tithe and offering as well or don't even come to church
