mumzt: Perhaps it's luck or perhaps is a little bit of asking questions after you get your final bill and holding them to the fine prints on the "package contract" @favougal says it correctly cos they (oakbend) won't charge you if you labour overnight or undergo induction-your physician might charge you for the latter and yes your 48hrs starts counting after you born and 72hrs if it's CS . 4 Likes |

Hello my people again, pls for those who have used Houston Methodist, did you pay for hearing test in the hospital or its free? Also How many routine visit do we have to make to the Pediatrician after discharge and any idea of the cost and clinic? Also, for those who used Dr. D, pls did you take along any test results from naija, cos i understand the doc's fees cover all lab tests and ultra scan. Thanks thanks, just preparing for this my missionary journey. |

@Debby516, The package deal from Dr F stated hearing test as None but when the nurses came to my room yday, they said it's not free o. So I told them I didn't want it. Ehen, so d hospital child doc refused to release my baby that she had not piss(peepee) Haa, after baby had poopoo like twice. That was my second day already. My mum start to pray. Went to meet d head nurse and explained she agreed to discharge me but I will stay as a boarder. Around6.30pm, princess finally peepee. 1 Like |

ijeomaobi1: They must do hearing test, it is a Texas law. It is NICS people that will do it. When they bring your bill, you will see it there lol @ baby refused to peepee. Your mama is funny o, until dey do evry test to their satisfaction, baby na their own.. They can discharge you but ask you to come back later for your baby. Thank God she's fine 1 Like |

debby516:I didn't pay for hearing test. It's not compulsory... Even tho I didn't use ur Hosp. I did it my self... Do it naija style.... Just shout chei and see if the baby won't wake up or shake ( or even b frightened). I did one ear at a time Two routine visit first visit because of registration it was 65 dollars or so subsequent was 55 or 50. Check November 10th or 11th post I posted details on this Dr's fee doesn't cover scan. My friend used him.. She was ranting how she had to pay for scan. 4 Likes |

feddy27: Hearing test is optional. At least I know for oakbend. They give u a paper to sign saying it's REQUIRED by d state of texas. But u can decline. It's not compulsory 1 Like |
