yea....whatsapp.

For JAMB aggregate itz ur score divided by 8 but for o level I'm nt sure saw this BC somewhr and looks genuine.

HOW TO CALCULATE YOUR JAMB SCORE AND O
level GRADE
A1-8points
B2 -7points
B3 -6points
C4 -5points
C5- 4points
C6- 3points
so the total grade points is added together
divided by 40 multiplied by 50. that will give u the
total points in d 50% of SSCE.
Assuming a candidate scored 200 and had C4 in
all his /her five relevant subjects in O level,it will
be calculated as follows:
jamb score divided by 8:200÷8=25
C4 in his/her five relevant subjects in O level
=5+5+5+5+5=25÷40×50=31•25
there fore the addition of jamb and O level points
= 25+31•25=56•25
So you can use this procedure to know ur total
points

thanks boss, i've done that and it's 50.5 (sad). Even with my average utme score (230) i still couldnt make it. Both waec and neco should be scrapped and the Malam should join Dibu.
Postutme still remains the most solid criteria for admission into tetiary institutions.
I weep for education sector of this zoo republic.

You are IN, already.

The course cut off mark is usually 45.00, yet only few will be on merit list while those that initially chose Law would be packed there during 2nd list.

Don't be surprised if you are between 3rd to 6th on the merit admission list.

[This is Better Pikin's Blog] UNILAG SUG Leaders Bag Four Semesters Suspension Each

Authorities of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have suspended Students' Union leaders who participated actively in the institution's last protest.
Betterpikins Blog authoritatively gathered that three of the suspended students have got their suspension letters, while others have been notified that they have a mail by their departments' officials.
We also learnt that the suspended students got between two to four semesters each.
Among those already confirmed to be suspended are the SU's Public Relations Officer, President and Speaker.
"None of them (SU leaders) was spared. The least among them got two semesters suspension," a source in the UNILAG Senate said. Sources close to the SU leaders also confirmed the suspension to us.
One of them said, "We are currently strategising on the way out of the challenge. Nobody is spared.

Nice one from Unilag. They have communicated the weight of each examination body to the public.
While it's easy to calculate your weight for utme, we are still so much in the dark as to how waec grades will be allocated.

Unilag admission committee should haba stop all these inefficiencies nah. They should by common sense know that candidates will want to know their aggregate.

there fore the addition of jamb and O level points
= 25+31•25=56•25
So you can use this procedure to know ur total
points

According to this, a person with 203 jamb score and 4 B3s and 1 C6 will have an aggregate of 59.125%

If the person is going for Physiology and from Ogun state, what is such person's chance in getting admitted

Abi o... Mathematicians, so to say are coming out with variations to help, but hey they are rather increasing BP of these prospective students.

I always see myself as a realist, Nigerian universities especially oau and ui that are seen as the last hope of the masses are now drifting away from what they used to be.

The idea of asking every tom dick and harry that score above 200 to register for screening is a gimmick to exploit Nigerians. While it is true that we all want to take our chances no matter how slim they are, I have the believe no matter how religious one is, we cannot all be admitted.

Jamb has done the honorable thing by posting candidates to every Skul based on student performance and capacity of the school while also considering ELDS and catchment area. Our Universities rejected this because it gives them fewer candidates and hence lower IGR from sales of form hiding under senate of the school is in charge of admission.

I don't know the reason jamb allowed oau to charge 6k for screening, as reasonable as Unilag 2500 is, it is still much for screening.

Educational sector needs intellectual revolution.

Note.
UI has not invited candidates for screening but am sure they will follow suit.
