This is what a typical classroom should like. This is an European University and you can see that almost everyone in the class has a laptop. An Apple Laptop for that matter.

But here we rejoice when the Government presents us with one laptop or when another country presents our anti-graft agency with 6 laptops..
.

We are getting there one day.

How can we achieve this when our students in higher institutions partake in 'sorting'? Many can't even conduct a simple research; they do COPY & PASTE!!!

Macbooks are manufactured in the US hence the citizens acquire it at cheap prices. Anyway, methinks there's no need for this comparison. Most white folks live fake lives. They live on credit that's why they rely heavily on the credit card system which they must pay back. We in naija use debit cards mostly hence your account must be well funded before you can make a purchase. My point is I believe in Nigeria. I'm not carried away by whatever happens in the West. Nigeria shall be great.

guy try again later...
why are you shooting off point?
the OP showed you "European" University compared to Nigerian University and you are busy talking about APPLE been manufactured in "American"

how can we grow if we don't compare our standard with" international best practices "...what are we aspiring to then..to be the best (mediocre) in our village?

Dont mind these yeye bloggers. They try to look for news where there isnt so tgat there can be traffic to their website. Someone just surfs the web and sees pictures then formulates news.

I would take proper infrastructure such as drinking tap water, good roads and constant power (electricity) supply for my child over receiving a free Apple laptop in school. But what do I know, right?

Big Deal??

Nigeria is going to be great only when we start buying our locally made products.

Really? So that is the solution, right? Bros, Nigeria will be great only when it's people change the way they think and do business.
