No phone is 100% cool.. But the hot S alright. I'm using the device and I will like to highlight what I don't like about the device... The device is not an FHD device but has 320 dpi....also it is not a full dual sim device.. Well, i have not used both phones, but judging from user experiences and reviews, i will say the Hot S is better. Now listen according to user experience, the C9 eyescanner is not responsive and people are either tired of using it or they dont use it at all. The 13MP camera is not as sharp as the Infinix Hot S and the camera is supposed to be the selling point oo. On the Infinix Hot S, the camera beats the Tecno C9 and it also has an 8MP front camera unlike the C9, so selfies with HOt S is better. The fingerprint scanner is responsive and fast.
Those are what reviews and users said.

I so much hate infinix phones... just too crappy.

I use techno c9, and I know it is way better than hot s. The camera is super sharp and clear (front and rear), we all know infinix camera is a bloody scam. There is no problem using 2 Sims and a memory card, unlike hot s where you have to make a sacrifice which means that you can either have 2 micro SIMs OR 1 Micro SIM + MicroSD card. The screen size cannot be compared with hot s that comes with a 5.2-inch screen, c9 comes with a 5.5". I think the difference is really clear

Well, the preference to screen sizes is actually relative. U may like a 5.5 inch screen while others prefer 5.2, so u can't really add that as an advantage.
Or would you say because iPhone 6s is 4.7" or Galaxy s7 is 5.1" that every 5.5 incher is better?

My sales outlet currently have both device in stock and personally I've used both device but I found Infinix Hot S a capable companion than Camon C9. Not worried at all by the 1sim + SD card tray or 2 Sims no SD card as I have other phones. It all boils down to preferences as I found Hot S battery more stable than C9 and the fingerprint scanner on the back no be here ooo as one could employ it to scroll gallery, take calls unlock your device without even touching your power bank. Working with my hot S camera I made a few bucks in just a few days.
If you're in my location (South East) I'll avail you with both phones to toy with before deciding on the one to buy either from me or elsewhere , Regards.

Yes true, tho have tried the C9 , i haven't tried the Hot S. I can only say the C9 is good based on experience

Hot S camera beat Camon C9? you must be dreaming. Even the Zero with 21MP is still trailing the Camon C9's camera. I have tested the two , the Hot S struggles to focus and pictures are too granny

I just got the Hot S today... it's so beautiful and sleek.... the battery is very good... camera is impressive.... finger print is responsive...in general the phone is value for money
