I concur with your post. Save for a few flashes of skill, Mikel was anonymous in the AMF role. He was a passenger for most of the game.

I believe a 4-2-3-1 formation would suit the team in subsequent games; Mikel would partner Azubuike in the defensive midfield area.

Nice following nairaland.just joined.My humble opinion about the Dream team.Siasia is a good coach but always depends on his boys.The team's defence has always been bad due to inexperience. Sincere,Amuzie ,Ndifreke,are academy stars and not mature enough for this level of competition. You wont wonder why they lost to the flying eagles twice,with other scandalous loses in Suwon.The benchman,Erimuya,though very good,but lacks experience. I know him in benin.A former youth star with BJ foundation.What happened to the likes of Ganiyu Ogungbe,Oluwasemilogo Ajayi,etc?. And NFF didnt play their cards well concerning the availability of Ndidi,Omeruo and musa Mohammed. These are guys with top class experience.
