Kogi State Governor's convoy into an accident scene between Gegu and Abaji on the Lokoja-Abuja Expressway Friday.
According to the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello on New Media, Petra Akinti Onyegbule, the accident involved an SUV and a commercial bus which was traveling from Lagos to Kano. Both vehicles were said to have been engulfed in flames burning 16 passengers to death. 3 of the dead passengers were in the SUV while 13 were occupants of the bus.
A lone survivor from the bus has been taken to an undisclosed hospital for treatment. May the souls of the victims rest in peace. Wishing the survivor a speedy recovery.

The cause of the accident would most likely be bad road. No wonder he's one of the worst Governors in the country.

Something is definitely wrong for these raging fires as a result of crashes. Cars are usually designed to not burst into flames on impact so my main two suspects would be the short cut mechanics and having petrol inside the car. RIP
