Secondly, I think the agric and culture minister would have appropriately fitted in a president's entourage visit as that will have been a well recognized state visit in which all stakeholders will be expected to be present.

I think the reason she took legal proceedings was because some set of people now harped unnecessarily on the allegations so much that they start pointing out her silence as assent. They even went as far as daring her to travel to the US if Fáyòsé was lying. This was putting her reputation, and by extension her husband's in the way of jeopardy. If it were you and you're damn sure of your innocence, wouldn't you take it up legally too?

By the way, PEJ actually made those grammatical errors for which she was made fun of. So she doesn't need to play any "victim card".
