The hijab is not a mosque cloth. Women wear it every where. The courts have already affirmed their right to wear it. In the US, muslim women wear their hijab everywhere including school. This CAN president is showing religious intolerance. 11 Likes 1 Share |

If I have my way, I will cancel the public practice of any form of religion. Practice whatever religion you subscribe to in the privacy of your house, once you step out to public domain, no more display of religion. Religion is more of a problem than solution. It causes division and hatred and so many people hides under it to perpetrate fraud. 3 Likes |

tafabaloo:.But this is about femele students. It has nothing what so ever to do with wearing of rubs or cowns. If can realing pursuing the course of xtianity, let him also order the female students to dress in the way of xtianity in the bible. Why is CAN deviating from the main issue? who is deceiving who? Let the female xtian students also dress in the way of Mary then the question balance. 1 Like |

seunmsg: Your solution does not solve the problem. It creates resentment towards the state. Freedom of religion is a fundamental right. There is a level to which the state can regulate but when it gets to people's clothes, it is taking it too far. 1 Like 1 Share |

PASTOR BRIGHT BAYO OLADEJI WROTE: "Where are the Christians who sold the Church? The Islamic agenda is being perfected. Prof Ishaq Oloyede, a preeminent Islamic fanatic who said he was not aware Christians are being attacked and killed is now to head JAMB replacing Prof Ojerinde, a Baptist. Four Muslims were not replaced, but left to continue. Out of the 17 offices, 9 new replacement are Muslims and 4 retained are Muslims. 13 out of 17 are now Muslims. NUC, Muslim, JAMB, Muslim; TETCOM, Muslim. Where are those Christian leaders who sold the Church for a plate of porridge? Where are those telling us Prof Yemi Osinbajo would stand for the Church being a Pastor? Do they involve him in all these lopsided appointments in favour of the North and Muslims or not? Do we have Christians among the APC leaders? Does Odigie-Oyegun, the chairman of the ruling party belong to the Catholic church? The fact that Buhari released these appointments the same day, the PUNCH Newspaper published an Editorial titled"Buhari's parochial appointments", a paper that endorsed his candidacy is a dirty slap on the nation. To say the least, it is a corruption with immunity. Many are afraid and being intimidated by the security operatives. Have we become second class citizens in our own country?" MY TAKE: Sadly the answer to the question is "YES", Christians are now second class citizens in Nigeria. We warned our people but they wouldn't listen. Nigerians said they wanted "change" and now they must live with it. Every Christian that supported President Buhari and the APC, including some of the most prominent Church leaders, should bow their heads in shame. As long as this evil continues we will not remain silent and neither shall we be intimidated. No matter how hard they try Nigeria will NEVER be Islamised and neither will our faith be rubbished. Rather than add to the injury sustained by fellow Christian soldiers in the battle of life through mockery and condemnation and the likes, help to support and aid the recovery of the wounded. You become weak and vulnerable each time a fellow Christian falls. Pls forward these messages to ALL Christians known to you 5 Likes 1 Share |

agabaI23:.Is CAN a lawless organisation? Let them go to the Court and seek a redress. I challenge CAN to be bold and stict the issue only to the female students and order the female xtian students to dress in the way of Mary now! What a deviation from the main issue! They must also provide evidence from the bible on the choice of the dressing. 1 Like |

Ibrahim1975: Lol, if female Christian students dressed like Maryam mother of prophet Isa (ﷺ), everyone would be wearing hijab, CAN would be cutting their own noses to spite their faces. CAN does not want to be Christian, despite their name. They want to be anti-Muslim to protect their future customer base from seeing the light. Unfortunately, they have not yet realised that it is futile to oppose Islam. 11 Likes |

Anyone that wears hijab or church robes to school, but refuses to wear same to a birthday party is a bigot. I read in one book that Jesus never called himself the son of God. if that is true why are we deceiving these children by teaching them what is not true. |

How can somebody say that he is doing a reform in the curriculum and change Christian doctrine and think that we will keep quiet? They will be teaching in that new educational curriculum that Jesus Christ is not the son of God. Is that Christian teaching? And you call it Christian Religious Knowledge? Where did you bring that one from if you are not just provoking anger in other people? You want to be teaching that Jesus is not the son of God and that He did not die on the cross and that He did not rise from the dead. You are saying there’s nothing like Christianity. Is that education? |

tbaba1234: So, government should allow people dress as they like? Those who worship masquerades can dress like one and christian students can also dress like we saw in Osun recently right? Oga, that is not the solution. Everybody should be subjected to the same rule irrespective of religious beliefs. School uniform for students in government established schools should be the same. After school, you can wear whatever you like. 5 Likes 1 Share |
