The tribunal eventually asked Juventus to pay that. He basically left on a free.

Pogba deal makes no sense at all.

This is always going to be a problem with the English game as long as Sky Money continues to roll in.

Imagine Stones going for almost 50m or even Batshuayi for 33m. Andre freaking ayew for 20m+

They spend money so much more sensibly on the continent

Everybody is spending money in England. I prefer the Pogba deal to the Stones own.

In Italy; consider these deals.
-Pogba
-29 year old Hinguain +£14m

I know which one I'll take again.

for all those that always criticized stones, just watch as pep turns him into a better pique...

Pique had Puyol/Mascharano who were no nonsense player to play beside him. City has Kompany but he's a sick note nowadays and he's declining so fast.

People keep talking about Stones' ball skills which I don't see. His composure on the ball under pressure is terrible and he makes as many bad passes as good ones, coupled with the fact that he's a terrible defender. I made a statement at the time we signed Bailly that in as much as I don't know much about him, I'm happy we got him and not stones.

I just don't see what Pep sees in him, same as Sane who's all about pace with average skills. The only good transfer City has made is Gundogan who's becoming sicknote already. Don't know bout the 2 Brazilians 'the Gabriels lads' though.

Anyway na dem sabi!

Now that Moaninghoe has succeeded in depleting us of £90m he better qualify for UCL, win the Europa

And EVEN WIN THE FVCKING SERIE A.

I wonder who's going to get the axe before the season closes to balance the wage budget.

Madrid breaks the bank and buys Bale for a world record fee. Nobody complains.
We break the bank and buy a player for a world record fee but everybody complains and the deal makes no sense.
29 yr old Higuain goes for £79mill.
18 yr old Sanches £35mill. Yet, "They spend money so much more sensibly on the continent".
Why dont y'all shut up and mind ur business(es) for once.

Madrid dint get to where they are now by spending conservatively and buying mediocre players. They kept on buying world class players for record fees and now they ve won two UCLs in three yrs.
If United needs to keep spending to get to those heights again, then so be it. Its not ur money. So kindly get lost and go play somewhere else. tongue

Compensation fee for his training and development.

When a player under the age of 24 leaves for free a compensation fee is usually paid to his former club as development fees.

i am yet to understand this obsession with a Carrick type midfielder. from the days i started seeing the games United never had a Carrick kind of midfielder. it was more pace & pawa with amazing use of the ball in attacking zones.
this is nat downplayin' Carrick's contributions so far buh hell, there ain' noin' wrong goin' back to how it was befo' him.

...& same thing applies to so-called No. 10. before Kagawa we never had that kind of arrangement. twin sharp strike partners or three goddamn fast trio interchanging & slaying teams off on counters like Spartacus.

give me a fleet-feet attacking trio upfront anyday! wetin be this No. 10s sef?

We had a playmaker in Scholes though.

People don't understand what Carrick provides in the team. Although, he's basically a holding midfielder, he's the only one that can orchestrate the tempo in our midfield, seeing that we have no one else.

You look at other holding midfielders such as De Rossi, Busquets, Weigl, Thiago Motta, they contribute a lot to the control of the team's midfield hence, whenever the midfield lacks a playmaker, they rise up to the occasion in their own limited way to orchestrate the play. That's exactly what Carrick does for us.

My ideal midfield would have been a 3-man midfield setup consisting of:

A holding midfielder who's defensively astute in his tackling, positioning and reading of the game, quick, agile and a good passer of the ball with good vision. All these I see a lot in Regan Poole;

A box-box mobile all action CM such as Ngolo'o Kante and lastly; A playmaker such as (Torres/ Josh Harrop) to gradually displace Rooney in that same role because let's face it, Rooney will certainly play a lot of games whether we like it or not but having a young player, preferable our youth player (Harrop) to gradually displace him from the team and eventually replace him will cause less of an uproar because no clown would scream blue murder when they see a young player putting in better performance than Rooney in that role.

Hence, a 3-man midfield of Poole - Kante - Rooney wouldn't be certainly bad when we had a much worse one in Carrick - Fellaini/Herrera - Rooney last season yet won the Fa cup and went toe to toe with City to compete for the fourth place..

As for those who don't like youth player, I will always say quality young players doesn't deprive a team from becoming successful and as a matter of fact, without the likes of Rashford and Martial, the Fa cup wouldn't have happened. Let's not also forget the fact that a very young Spurs team were fantastic last season and will only get better this season. Also, a young German team almost won the '10 world-cup and won it subsequently after.

Hence, It would be a shame if we can't integrate some of our youth players when the team consistently won the u21 titles 3 consecutive times. That shows how good they are. In fact, a lot of our young players outperformed our seasonal players last season when they got to play for the first team...

Exactly why I was in support of Van Gaal.

As for Kagawa, he's not just a 10 but a playmaker as shown by how he's looked good in the central midfield so far for Dortmund last season or for us when we played against Bayern in the CL. It would have to be a 3-man midfield of course but our coach was a fool to deploy him on the wing, just like England coach was a fool to deploy Scholes on the wing which made him look terrible for England.

You might need to take that tampon out of your cünt and use it to plug your gaping mouth instead. If you had bothered to use the two things in your eyesockets for once in your miserable existence, you would have noticed that I actually even criticised a Chelsea transfer in my post.

Look, my post was not for you. When I discuss football with Manyoo fans, I don't usually involve you...so I don't know why you want to use your head to jam trailer.

Higuan deal is as much about weakening the team that came 2nd in thr league last season as it is about signing a guy that just broke a league goalscoring record that has stood for almost a century...and it was enabled in part by this Pogba movement

Sanches deal is looking quite good already. 18 years old and a major part of a European title winning side.

Things are done differently and more sensibly on the continent. That's a fact.

Now that you've been duly educated, you can run along to go and play in the sand or whatever it is you do in your spare time. Miss me with the BS next time.

You trying to justify a club paying that much on a 29 years old but see nothing good in a deal bringing in a 23 years old that has at least 8 years to play? Pogba was a key part of the French team that got to the final. Loosing it does not make him a lesser player.
