They are few PDP women who think good governance will deprive them of stealing of what does not belong to them

You ought to know their grievance before bringing it here so that people can contribute meaningfully to the topic.

I ran into an anti-Obiano protest by market women around Ochanja market this afternoon and decided to help them press home their demands by uploading some captions of the protest.

The purpose of the protest could not be immediately ascertained as they had no placards with them but were all chanting "No more Obiano, No more APGA"
I suppose it has to do with the frustration his so called Ugu,rice etc export is causing their local market.

this will not be unconnected with the revenue charges at the market but of course government has a role of keeping the market clean providing enabling environment for them n I can tell u that there is no any market in any states in NIGERIA today that have not raised their IGR bar. they can only ask for reduction or in case of any conflicting issues request for clearance rather than pick on the working Governor.

must we all try so hard to bring down our best hands?
well i believe this must have been as a result of demolishing a section of their market place so as to put up a better structure or something ofcos u dont expect them to be happy. jast like the one happening in owerri now where the Rochas Okorocha led government is making a move to destroy and relocate the popular ekeonunwa market. people are protesting against it but its all for the good of the people

so Op u better think before posting certain things on nairaland and am nat surprised it made front page but the moderators wont see an american born nigerian who sponsored her self to Rio to represent nigeria in one of the games ( this is in sports section) but always ready to pick trash and display on the front page.

No matter what you guys do u cant take Anambra back or use nairaland useless criticism to bring Obiano down ANAMBARIANS are too great of a people to take your propaganda to heart. They have already repackaged their own kind of politics its not a politics of gather some miscreants give them 500 naira and rice and u have them ranting everywhere no no no your money is nothing they dant look at your face. everybody hustle to feed than depend on a politician (they are industriously industrious)

****
Well said bro, Anambra is and will always be the best. APC children and propaganda, many pay per post guys on nairaland doing what they are paid for. Since the OP was there, y not video them and paste so we can at least here what they are saying, you think you are smart. I have never seen an unconfirmed story or protest making front page. Just because lately Obiano is on the news every where for good governance, they are looking for what they will do to discredit him. Sorry guys, who. God have lifted up, even the most powerful man of God can't bring him down come be AFONJAs and APC.

Leave politics aside.

I don't get this protest.

Is this not the governor that is successfully rivalling Ambode in Lag?

Some people are just unfortunate-that is if its really an anti-Obiano protest.

Obiano has engaged more in media hype than in actual governance. Little or no project has been completed by the man but he is busy with media jingoism.

That Nigga should just bribe these biitches with some of that multi-million dollar Ugu Money and keep it moving.

Obiano is Nigeria's Minister of Ugu and Bitterleaf in 2019 because that shiit is soo good, we have to give it it's very own Ministry..
If you reach home or if you are at home now, call your mother a biitch. These are poor women who sell perishable goods. They use police and other thugs to harass them because someone wants to make money on their heads. Who will be happy being deprived of the source of their livelihood in these hard days. Don't just make any comment you like because you're not obliged to make one. Mad cow!

Obiano needs to sit up and address these myriads of problems facing his people.

Onitsha is a small area but with most inner roads overrun with flood and eroded roads.

Re: Market Women Protest Against Obiano In Onitsha (PICTURES) by eziokwubundunuwa: 9:28pm On Aug 09, 2016
Since he took over no new road has been constructed in Onitsha but extortion from traders has been his interest. Most roads are dotted with heaps of garbage.

With the money being wasted on publicity stunt, an eldorado would have been expected but the people are suffering and voiceless.

What I find amusing is his media aids wasting their energy trying to run down Imo State just like one Chino is doing here on Nairaland.

Lol..

My Bad. Didnt mean to be hurt anyone's feelings. But I get your point. With regards to Obiano.. From what I have seen in Awka, he seems to be working but I don't think he is visionary enough to take Anambra State to the next level.

Be Cool Bro.
Re: Market Women Protest Against Obiano In Onitsha (PICTURES) by Tochytee(m): 10:17pm On Aug 09, 2016
I think its all about road side trading along that ochanja market road, these women turned that road to something else the drainages are totally littered with waste food items am sure the governor has ordered those market women to evacuate that place beside its a good move by the governor, so this protest is dead on arrival.
