She took her out today to her niece's house ( my husbands' cousin) and my dd started crying so she breastfed her.
This is a baby that is 7 months old and has started semi solids.
So you see, I don't want to talk because it involves my MIL.

If you are sure your DH is not going to find out one way or the other you can talk to her yourself and seriously too so she know the level of her F up.

Even if the baby was 1month old,it still doesn't give her the right to do what she did,talkless a 7 month old that has so many options.

Hi mommy,pls I beg to differ in what u said abt pure water being better than bottled water. It's really nt d case. I did my IT in a water Bottling Company,there z a specific machine(3-in-1dispensery) dat z used in filling these bottles,it rinses d bottoe,fills it n caps d bottle enclosed in that machine. NOBODY has any contact wit d water dat z entering into d bottle.

As a quality control personnel,I have visited most places where all this pure water stuffs are being made,most of dem just get their regular tap water n even wit a hot iron u can seal d satchet. 

Dats why ppl are advised to go 4 good bottled water n nt all these kweke kweke u c on d street,Naija z messed up as it z,its left 4u to tk charge of ur health.

Please warn her seriously. Diseases can be passed through breastmilk. Eg hepatitis B, HIV. Even drugs can be passed. I wonder what gave her the guts.

It's ok to feel the way you are feeling.

One rule of the game when resuming work after child birth is to resume on a WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY. That way, the weekend is very close for you to spend with your babies again.

Also, if your office is not far from home, pop in at break time, play with them and go back. If not, when you get back home, make it mummy and baby's time. Once I'm back from work, I discharge everybody and spend all the time with my baby till morning again.

In my opinion it is a very stupid thing to do and you are not over reacting please don't even wait for your husband to talk to her talk to her yourself. Even if u didn't express or drop formula for the baby there's always water. My one cent though

So i have been seeing a lot of discussions on EBF and a question came to my mind.

What if a mama has made plans on doing EBF say for 3 or 6 months, and for some reasons her BM doesn't start flowing immediately after birth and the baby has to be formula-fed pending when BM starts flowing. Can she stop the formula and start the EBF when BM starts flowing, or it doesnt count as EBF anymore because she had to do the formula feeding previously?

I think its just a term , dont get too hung up on it.
In my opinion EBF, mix feeding or exclusively formular feeding really only matters when they are weighing the baby, as you can overfeed a formular fed baby but not a baby on breast milk only. If there is a larger than expected weight gain, you may be asked to reduce formular, but with Breastfeeding there is no such concern.

Has anyone heard from Tatacherie? It's really been a while.
