Instead of getting confused about dress code wear AGBADA, on the food and table manner request for eba or semo that ur hand remain an instrument to kill it. If u are the shy type drink little red label supported with tom tom to avoid the smell, don't talk to much, keep ur answers simple and precise. Don't remove ur shoe at the main entrance even if the floor is gold plated,
thank you should always follow wit sir/ma...
Be courageous, bold and smart

wish you the best

Treat them as your parents, buy them gifts like Bottle of juice, fruits, bread, and short bread for the last born. Don't be too forward, let the father do all the talking & asking, you be the respondent. As for dressing, I advise you wear a blue jeans + clean White sleeve + A cat black shoe, don't tuck in oh, look smart.. Make sure you make friends with her mummy, & siblings.. very important

cheesy you defied the odds of this buhari economy and popped the question. Big ups man!

Go traditional. You can never go wrong in white, add a blue cap.

Composure? You should be used to a part of her family already na, be it siblings or mother.
Don't famz the dad o, cos he ain't happy that you're nacking his daughter.

Don't wear matching outfits with ur fiancee. No gallas or any funy haircuts. And don't do touch touch, we are Africans ooo.

Don't talk politics ooo... the father maybe APC. Lol.

Be confident, sharp and clean. Be matured.

He should talk politics joor. When discussing politics, time flies. He should only align with the Dad. If he is APC, abeg Start praising Buhari

If you're smart, in few minutes with them you should be able to find out who runs the show in the family. I mean the actual "head" cos we know majority of men are ceremonial head in their family.

Discuss with the man more with an air of confidence. Man to man not this sir, yes sir, no sir stuff.

You can employ nicety on her mom to make her feel you're humble.

Never drop any cash to impress.

Give the man a nice bottle of wine first. You should be entertained before handing the stuffs o except you're not igbo. Then hand over other items to your woman mother.

Thank them for being a good host and lie to them your peeps are dying to meet them.

While you are there, keep watchful eyes on the mother. Cos she's the ultimate decider if the marriage will become a success.

People can take risk nowadays.
How can a man propose to a girl, and he hasn't known the parents or met them atleast once? I can't do such o.
Anyway, op, I wish u well, there is a first time for everything.

My input is this, "don't say all there is to say on any topic raised".

If you should lie to answer a question your babe must know. Her dad may take you to a corner and stylishly ask you some questions he will also ask her daughter later. So before leaving make sure you alert Bae of any white lie.

Lastly no be because say every went well be say you go marry her look closely and ask questions about her family, find out her mother's personality before deciding..... Aborting a mission is allowed.

Don't go there and be discussing Politics or Chelsea

If dem offer you food, no finish am

If you use their toilet, remember to flush

If dem offer you alcohol, reject am. Stick to soft drink or water

Finally....put your phone on vibration/silent
