It's not hard, they always told me to learn it, but i felt as a guy why bother, till i went for NYSC i learnt the hard almost died of hunger, i used Nairaland Food section but let me send you some links

Well can't say it's unfair men too have been subjected to higher requirements before accepted for marriage. What's in cooking, I learnt cooking from nairaland section so I don't see it a big deal, theres a diff between can't cook perfectly and I can't cook. What's the essence of bride price then, what pride is one paying for ?

The way to a man's heart is through his stomach....... a wife that can cook very well will have her husband dashing home after work. The wife that can't cook will always have her husband coming home late at nights.... well fed...saying busy at work and he's too tired to eat!

I personally cannot marry a man who does not know how to cook. Cooking is a basic and important life skill... If I'm sick or have to travel for work/something important, I don't want to be thinking that my family will starve to death or eating unhealthy.

Thankfully, my boyfriend loves to cook and cooks regularly!!

I didn't marry a cook, I married my woman, a friend, soul mate, lover and wife, not a cook! Cooking does not define the qualities in a woman, she. Might not be good in cooking but good in other things grin

that's why there are professional cooks ..,this life is simple why complicate it.. You and your wife working 9-5! Coming home from work everyday is a struggle and you now want her to go in the kitchen and spend another 2-3hrs in the heat... I advice any single girl that can't cook to stay away from Redeem church. It's not a friendly hunting ground.

Imagine making breakfast for your wife or even serving her well made eba and egusi after she comes back from work or after bathing the children. she'll be extremely happy.
