Minding you Saudi is also in recession but no much suffering cos they had something to fall back on.
Saudi past leaders weren't looting and spending irresponsibly. They saved for the country.

. it was already producing a meaningful result until zombies voted in the certificateless cow rearer who came in and breached FG's agreement with bakers association to provide an improver, a capital good that is used together with cassava to produce bread
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/06/hike-in-price-of-bread-imminent-says-national-chairman-of-master-bakers/

So you can see that Buhari's govt failed to provide improver for the use of cassava in production of bread.

What a failed administration.
Meaningful results in ur village ba? Ur major problem is dat ur hatred 4 Buhari has watered down ur level of reasoning.

Take bread for example, had GEJ's cassava bread strategy produced any meaningful result, the price of bread wouldn't be double today. Don't forget that sugar, another major component of bread is largely prnduced in Nigeria.
The bad policies & wastages during all our years of excess fund is the cause of current economic predicament. I keep saying it, Buhari has already exceeded expectations. To postpone the doomsday the way he did and be paying paying salary with ease he has scored 120% already.

So he finally accepted that before he came into power crude was sold for $100/barrel which has drastically fallen to $45. Nigerians are really passing through tough times because of his useless and inefficient economic policies and careless decisions. We used to be giant of Africa but we have fallen to zero ground. Poverty ravaging the country as if there won't be any tomorrow. When intellectual is placed beneath nepotism and religious favouritism as all his appointments so far were based on whether you're hausa-fulani muslim.

Buhari has nothing up in his head. How long will it take zombies to realize that. When last did Buhari read a book on development? Or even any book for that matter. Only a fool expects results from an illiterate president. How can I have a degree, Masters and phD and go and vote someone without even evidence of attending secondary school? That's stupidity I swear.

1) They invest well during the years of excess.
2) They were and are less corrupt.
3) Their cost of producing crude oil is lowest (less than $10) while ours is average of $28.99. This alone means that at $30pb of crude in intl market they can stay afloat while we can't.
These are the three major reasons they aren't in recession.

In addition Saudi Arabia kept $900b aside for this recession when it was looming. On our side the total money we had in our foreign reserve was $33b not even enough to run this country for a month and pay our debts.

must we only depend on crude oil? Mr president, invest more on agriculture and stop being foolish. Nigeria is very rich in mineral resources. lastly, go back and open all closed boarders or else, I pity Northeners the most. Stupid and everly foolish President

So that was why it took you long to appoint unmerited ministers?

A good leader shines in the period of recession, it enables him to perfectly exercise his ingenious knowledge and dexterity in curbing such adversities/recessions. But not in the case of man that barred the importation of rice when the local producing capacity is not up to par with the demand of such commodity, causing importers to smuggle the commodity with expensive rates.

Even if Oil price hits $1000pb today, the clueless cow rearer will spend the revenue on fruitless tourisms.

Funny, all the things said about pmb were said about Obama in his first 3 years in office. Even when he was about running for second term, things were still difficult but at least, there were no special group sabotaging the economy like the NDA are doing. But, with time, things will start yielding fruit.

Re: Why Nigeria, Its People, Are Suffering — Buhari by nextstep(m): 6:33am On Aug 12, 2016
Baba, please drop the long talk. We know why Nigerians are suffering, and it is mostly because of you:

- you took so long to take any decisions when you first came in
- then you put in place a team of ministers that leave a lot to be desired
- you spent time blaming the previous government instead of planning
- you started hunting down opponents in the name of "corruption"
- you made economic decisions that don't make sense in a modern economy
- you tightened money supply,
- your economic team flip-flops every two weeks on schedule
- your government bans suddenly without any notice, schedule or explanation
- your government misprioritizes gov't spending

With all due respect, Baba, we are not convinced that you and your team are the best to lead us through these trying times. This is the position you wanted for 3 elections, please stop making excuses and make the country great.
