The show is targeted at teenagers but damn the writers are the 'stupidest'. Every season they unveil an 'A' who turns not to be the real 'A'. So in season 6, I guess because they thought it might not be renewed they did a big reveal of 'A' but then they got another contract for S7 and lo and behold the girls after being away from Rosewood for 5 years come back for a funeral only to become targets of another mystery bully/stalker tagged 'A.D'
