What has this got to do with me asking you to provide proof of date for the picture you posted? I gave you an example of how one can prove the date of a picture and you're going off on a tangent.

As for your comment about the Igbos being exposed to civilisation, I have two points to make:

1) Suggesting that covering up= civilisation is a very eurocentric way of thinking. Wearing clothes that suit your environment is perfectly rational- ask the ancient Egyptians.
2) If the Igbos became civilised "very late", as you put it, but they managed to 'catch up' and even supersede other Nigerians just 30 years after this picture was taken, what does that say about these Nigerians who were supposedly 'civilised' at an early age?

Look at all the amazing legacies they have left behind in the great architectures littered all over Africa, Yoruba mathematical theorems from centuries ago that even modern academics refer to till today. Look at the tapestry of written ancient poetry and script that are continuously studied even in the far seas of Asia. Just look!

The barrage of stories we hear of ritual human parts sacrifice in the seat of oyo empire and Abeokuta, the stories of oba cannibalism, oro "festival," the burial of human heads with dead chiefs, and all of that is just Igbos killing themselves that Yorubas have always been sophisticated and civilized.
