im using my gionee m5 plus to type this wright now ... blv it or not ....this phone na machine ....
camera......8/10
battery......... 10/10
screen res.....9/10
internet speed...9/10
I don't kn much abt heavy game on it cos I don't play much game on phone .
mind u ; av used a lot of so called high end phones I kn d difference...... if its samm or apple that does this phone ,yeeeeee!!!!!! jus gets ready to pay 220k

It's a machine worth every penny spent on it.
Battery life is super Excellent, with a 4000mAh rating, it lasts me for 24hrs when charged fully.

And when I mean 24hrs I mean Twenty Four hours with heavy usage. I press my phone all the time so it's not just a 24hrs in my handbag am talking about.

Camera resolution is good, for an 8mp shooter it's clean and crisp. Front camera pegged at 5mp does more wonder than u can imagine.

Overall, I will not trade it for any other phone for now except it's senior brother, the M5 itself.

Downside... Phone a bit weighty cos of the battery size.

Advice ....... Never use non recommend charger for it, it will slow down the charging rate and battery might not operate optimally.
....... Dont buy it from non trusted phone outlets, some sell repackaged used phones as new. Buy from a reputable phone shop or the Gionee store itself to get warranty on it.

I bought Gionee M5+ yesterday 05/08/2016 at the cost of N76,500 at Slot, but found out that it's not as wonderful as the hype. I still prefer my Samsung Note and Samsung Grand 2. Any interested buyer can contact me. Am beginning to hate these Chinese based phones.

I tried it out but I only got all my movies and videos deleted. And from 0.98gig the cache went down only to 0.90gig.

Any other way out?

you should try this one...
go to that system manager, select cache cleaner. 1st pic.
2nd pix. select everything .
then clean. when cleaned..
3rd pix. this will appear..
go to your storage and confirm

I think the reason why my gionee m5 lags is because of its overheating... The phone overheats like hell and as a result, the battery hardly takes me 12 hours. The uploaded pix shows the temperature reading of the screen of the phone... Imagine the screen as hot as virtually 40 degree Celsius, I wonder how hot the engine inside will be..... Please any way out on this heating problem? Am using Nigerian rom. Is the Indian rom any better?
