I totally understand your point...truth is its a fool's paradise in this sorry excuse of a geopolitical sovereign nation.. i want out too...have a number of family and close friends living in UK that were heckling me to move over, but i felt comfortable, did not want to leave the food, warm weather, long term friends etc behind. MY FOOLISHNESS! I'm well educated and coming from an upper middle class background, always thought the idea of foreign land hustle is beneath me. I changed my mind this year...the idea of building good life from sweat and honesty here is just cotton candy, swell and colourful on the outside just empty on the inside. In relation to price of commodity, the system has made me too poor to fill up my car's tank from empty. I can go on and on and on...but not in my nature to beetch about stuff. At the minute, I'll take cold foreign and strange to comfortable warm BS! Family usually get MSc edu from England but now...I'll take a PGC from Canada, gives me one leg into the country and frankly can't afford forex for MSc yemdogg: 3 Likes |

Olargee: Baba I share your sentiments. This country is not meant for the hardworking people. It's just about how connected you're. No room for merit. When I gained admission into the University, I had a score of 72 out of 100. To my surprise, when we resumed fully, i discovered some of my colleagues scored 43 out of 100 despite the fact that the cut off mark was 64. that's to tell you that the whole system is contaminated. In Donald Trump's voice "the system is rigged" It is only in Nigeria university admission process that you'd see merit list, 2nd batch, supplementary list, VC list and it goes on and on. Chaii That's why non of our institutions is among the top 1000 universities in the world. Smh |

Churkie: All u need to do is scan the confirmation letter for ur payment and send it to accra.immigration@international.gc.ca The same thing happened to me...I'll include a screenshot of my conversation with VFS GLOBAL Support chat. Make sure you put your details (Tracking Id, Reference Number, Passport Number etc) when sending it to them so that they can easily trace your application and add it to support your VISA processing. Hope this helps.

Sorry ma, for USA he needs a transit visa. He could, better still, change his itinerary to go through Europe where they do not require visa for transiting. Phunmmiee: |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by thesoj: 1:00am On Aug 16, 2016 |
Yes you can do that. There are no cut and dry rules. All you need to do is present whatever information in a way that is clear and easily comprehensible to the visa officer. Also, why do you need a consent letter? I have never heard of the concept of a consent letter for an applicant older than 18 years of age. Best. Jayne07: 1 Like |

Jayne07: Yes you can. Buh if you're above 18, I doubt if you would need a letter of consent. 1 Like |

Good morning house.. 3 of us applied for study permit, one was denied and the other 2 no updates. Application will be 12weeks by August 25th. My observation: they communicated twice in exactly one and 2 months. Does this imply that 12weeks is same as 3 months by their standards? My programme starts on the 6th of Sept and no medical call yet. I'm gravely worried. Any advice from my seniors? I'm a newbie. I'm grateful! |
