Christ came to show a new order from the old order, he has not abolished the old order yet, but he has shown the way out of it for everyone who is willing and ready. Until he comes back again, the wheat and the tares will continue to grow together, so my friend, your argument as I told you earlier is DOA.

Once again, this is holy ground wink
Please keep mute and stop being a blind samurai. I asked you if the pharisees and the likes were Christians and you're here preaching your nonsense gospel.

And like I told you, holy ground my ass!.

Okay. Let's start by mentioning this multiple faiths. Bare in mind, "Faith is not the same as" Religion". So, let's go.

Inconsistencies? I don't see any, I think we shd also point them out.

Ineffectiveness of Prayer? Am a living Testimony of answered prayers, so I don't know what u r talking about.

Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
James:4:2

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
James:4:3

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
James:4:3

Could the above be the reason your prayers were ineffective?
Juxtapose your reasons for wanting what you ask for and the Will of God, do they align?

Lust, pride (desire to show off), coverteousness, Envy, etc. If the above are the reasons you want anything from God, you won't have it.

In asking, how do you go about it? even if you are asking rightly, the manner also matters.
Between God and you, who is the Master, and who is the servant?
Is God working for your Dad?
Do you feel the need to order Him about?
Do you tell what you want and when you want it with immediate effect?
Are you rebellious, arrogant and proud? If this describes you, then you are not a sheep but a goat. And he needs sheep not stubborn goats.

The Lord is my Shepherd...
I know my place as the sheep, and Him my Shepherd, Do you?
What are the qualities of a sheep? Do i have them?
What are the qualities of a Shepherd? Does he have them, and can he keep to his words.
Can I trust him to come through?
Can I wait for the right time? (For there's a time and season for everything under the sun)
Do you trust him to do what he says he will do?

If you are not a sheep, how then can you even begin to ask for anything? There's a place for sons and there's a place for creatures. We are all God's creatures, but not all of us are Sons of God. (For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God)
You'd have to settle for what He has given to humanity in general.

I don't mean my prayers. I mean prayers in general. What I mean by inconsistencies is the fact prayers do not seem to work all the time hence one can say it's just happenstance. This happens to everyone regardless of their religious affiliations.

Your perspective is wrong. There are so many God's, and these God's have their methods of doing things by their devotees.
When you group all religious affiliations under one umbrella and their prayers, it'll be quite confusing. The reason is, every of this God's have their ways, the approaches to receiving from them are not the same.

So, I will pls want us to dwell on the God am familiar with, Yahweh. Let's take about Him and praying to him, not all other "Religious Affiliations". Thank you.

It happens to Christians as well. Just that when it does they say it's the will of God, God knows best etc.

Psalm 126:1
When the Lord turned again the captivity of zion, we were like them that dream.

Ishilove, have you seen this verse in the Bible?

To some, it will seem like a trance, to others like a movie. When the captivity of zion is turned again, when the dry bones of Israel are awakened, when Jesus the Son of God returns into his sanctuary, it would seem like a dream to many people.
Re: Why Did Jesus Have To Die? by MrPresident1: 10:30am On Oct 22, 2016
Now the death of Jesus Christ can be seen in two parts

1. God, the husband of Israel incarnated into man; Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ who is fully God, and fully man came and paid the price for the idolatries (adulteries) of Israel. According to the Law, a woman who breaks the marriage covenant by engaging in adultery must die. It is unfathomable mercies and the greatest depth of love that rather than watch his wife die a painful and cruel death, God choose to die for her so that she will be free from the curse of the law.

If a man chooses to die for his wife's adultery, she can no longer be accused or sentenced, she is free, she becomes a widow. This is the present state of the original Israelites of the Bible today- the Negros, the husband of Israel is dead, so everyone is treating her shabbily.

But her Husband is mighty, and He is coming back!

2. Jesus Christ is the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the whole world. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin, the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ is the atonement for the sins of the whole world that brought reconciliation.

The world was not in a covenant of marriage with God, only Israel is. But the world's idolatries had to be atoned for, Jesus paid this price and made this atonement by shedding his blood for the sins of the whole world, hence John 3:16.
