This is the third time airtel have successful stole from my account. Whenever data activation for 1.5g for N50 fails airtel will refuse to refund you the money or alocate you the data. They will tell you they are working on it. The funny part is the customer service agnet will tell you that it will be resolved in next 12 hours!? It is a service that will end by 5am this morning so that means it will never be resloved. Your money is gone. Pls i use this service almost everyday BUT this is the problem. It is not preditable. I mean this is bad. Etisalat always refund your money or give you free minutes if you have this kind of problem. Also i have ask them to stop sending me unwanted message s and calls through 2442 but they refused to comply. Do NCC really enforce that law?

My brother I was faced with this problem few weeks ago, but I have a solution and I even used the Night plan this morning but I was unable to finish it.

The best way to enjoy the Airtel Trybe 1.5GB plan is to migrate to the Trybe plan, your money won't be deducted, after that SUBSCRIBE FOR THE 500MB PLAN FIRST, the you can go ahead and subscribe for the 1.5GB plan it'll cost you just N75 instead of N50

You can check the STATS BELOW... cheesy

OP I think this guy is right, u need to sub to N25 for 500mb before u do the one of N50 for 1.5gb data and if u must sub, do it some minutes past 12midnight or wait for 1am.

Mind you it has been working flawlessly in my area, without complain, just make sure u have a separate Airtel SIM card for this night plan.

Advice : don't use ur day to day Airtel line don't use ur Airtel 2G network plan, just use a new Airtel SIM and ur good to go

I had the same problem twice and called the customer care and it's like they tell their agents to say the same lies each time someone calls, it's all very annoying. I wish there was a way I could get back at them!

I have two SIMs. One is dedicated to that night plan and i sub by 1am on those three ocassion. It is not the time or SIM problem. Airtel is a fraudant network and they hide and seek with truth. Also when you dial *140# to see your night data bal. It won't show you.

To give up when they steal from you is not a good idea that's why i came here to see if am only the person having this problem. The plan is a good one BUT airtel is planning to use it to steal from their customers blind becuase if they are sincern and say it is a network problem, the best thing to do is refund the customer or transfer the data the next day for usage and send the customer a text. simple

This is a good idea but it is just that i plan 500 for this plan per week and use the MTN wowweekend so i can't be wasting 25 everryday.

I experienced somthing similar 3 days back. I subcribed for the #25 midnight plan, it was blocked after 30 minutes. They went futher to deduct #90 from my account, leaving me with #16. Now i am forced to return to mtn #Olosho_service_providers.
