So,how does this work exactly,since to the best of my knowledge glo ng does not operate on a 4G/LTE network in Nigeria..the fact that you see your phone displaying 4G/LTE doesn't necessarily mean you're having a 4G network..that is determined if your network provider makes the said network available and so far only Ntel and MTN have rolled out such GSM services in Naija..

Did I hear u say glo and 4g? It is pointless, I repeat it is pointless switching to 4g when ur network does not support 4g. It is only going put a load on ur battery because ur phone will keep searching for 4g when it is not available. When u switch to 4g u end up using about 40% more battery especially when 4g is unavailable. The only gsm network with 4g at the moment is ntel. So if u are not using ntel, it is pointless switching to 4g. 3g is just fine.

Ignorance is a bad thing. If ur network doesn't have 4g then what's the use of switching ur phone to 4g, u are still going to get 3g speed. And the disadvantage is that ur phone will drain more battery, (up to 40% more battery) searching for 4g that is not available.

Why u dey deceive urself? Infinix hot 2 does not have 4g lte radio and there's nothing u can do about it. 4g is something manufacturers are proud of, so if infinix included a 4g radio on the hot 2, they will be proud to brag about it.
