ladies are truly beautiful creatures, yet very funny and complicated, during my days at the university, I meet this very beautiful and intelligent lady,from same Dept though a junior colleague, we became friends and we were always there for each other, I advice her about something's pertaining life in general (from the little experience I have) after I graduated our level of closeness shrinks due to the distance between us, but early this year we reestablish our close friendship,she told me she is engaged to someone, I was happy for her, the guy is taking good care of her tbh, as am now planing to travel out of the country to further my studies and career suddenly she now opened up about how she feels towards me,even though I told her back then that I really loved her and had feelings for her but she felt it wasn't a good idea and preferred the 'friendship thing',am a guy that don't pursue shadows, she is engaged am single so I told her to hold on to her man let me look forward to meeting my own God destined wife... seriously she is now in a very bad emotional state,and for the records her guy is kind and caring but she is complaining that his not good looking.. but pls why are ladies this complicated? (most not all).what else can I do to help her? don't like seeing her hurt.

We have moved past the era of arranged marriages, so I don't believe her, well she can dump the guy and commit to you if she is really serious, but that would be unfair to the kind guy.
