Osun Got Zero Allocation After Debt Deduction In April by traction: 10:23am On Aug 22, 2016 |
The Federal Government deducted a total sum of N32bn from the allocations of states from the Federation Account in the month of April 2016 for different loans they incurred. In a report by the Economic Confidential, the economic intelligence magazine, it appears Osun state is worse hit by the development and ranks number one, as its allocation for the month of April 2016 totaling N2.030 billion was wiped away by a deduction of N2.391 billion leaving a deficit of N361 million to be paid in the subsequent month by the state, and this represents a whopping 117.8 percent of the total allocation due the state from the federation account. This mean that Osun state had nothing to take home for the month of April, 2016, as other means of survival had to be adopted to keep the ship sailing for the people of Osun State. lol Osun, my state is now a "to bring" state The output is far less than input, yet some will come here to praise the he-goat! The excuse for the diminish in federal allocation then was Osun State was deliberately starved of allocation by Goodluck Jonathan and the Dummy President wouldn't rebut the claim. Is Goodluck Jonathan still the President now? Perhaps Aregbesola has fallen out with Muhammadu Buhari, hence the reason for the deduction in allocation. Thank God the time is now telling! 2 Likes 1 Share |

Osun State citizens should ask Governor Are-gbese what he did with all the loan, he has been collecting over the past year's, where did the money go to. All the loans have been diverted to Thief-nubu his godfather. Aregbeshola has sold Osun State to Thief-nubu Osun State Economy and revenue bigger than the whole South East----Aregbeshola Jonathan is reason why Osun State is in debt and can't pay workers salaries -----Aregbeshola 2 Likes

Aregbe is working .. I thought it was GEJ and NOI that was starving the state of funds They should be made to pay the balance of N361m to the FG else AMCON should seal up the state 4 Likes 2 Shares |

We need serious explanation from the governor to tell osun indigenes what he used the loans incurred for. It is shameful that some sycophants would post pictures of projects that is 1% of the state's needs. |

AllTheWayUp:He really sold the state to Tinubu! I think Lagos State should acquire Osun State and make Aregbesola the commissioner for Osun affair. In the history of Osun State, Aregbesola has the very highest IGR, more than 5 times her than his predecessor. Yet, nothing to show for it. 2 Likes |

OP, it wasn't zero allocation but a negative allocation as the state is still owing about 300million naira to deductions which will be deducted from next month's allocation. May God continue to punish the Sowetians of the SW. |

KwaraRat: OP and moderator change it to from Zero Allocation to negative allocation That mean they won't even get any single allocation in the coming months. Osun State don enter ONE CHANCE Kia Aregbeshola don finish Osun State United Nations, NEMA and Red Cross, have to quickly set up several IDP camps and food centres in Osun State, because the hunger situation, there will get out of hand in the coming weeks. 1 Like

AllTheWayUp: By the end of the year, Aregbe will be lapping his own debt. Next months allocation will definitely double to minus 600million and by December will be at minus 1.5bn. This is the fool they gave an award claiming he is the Yoruba Living Legend. And to think that this fool got the highest bailout of 40bn which was 400% higher than the second highest state bailout fund. Now what did he do with that money? Make I wait here for that Remi tinubu paint sniffing tout arressa to start posting pictures of the same school as achievement Useles people who deservingly deserve this nurtw tout as a governor. |

this should be on front page. i was reading through one of those old gbawe's thread some days ago on how aregbe will use the 20billion naira he borrowed to construct road, develop tourism centre which he(gbawe) claimed will yield huge investment and boost the state IGR. The overrated numbscul even stated that by 2017, osun will not have to rely on federal allocation. The nitwit is somehow right though.Osun no longer rely on federal allocation, we now rely on bank loan! |

Thank God that Jonathan wasn't reelected otherwise yorubbas/Aregbe will be blaming Jonathan for all their problems...SMH. The more the economy worsens, the more yorubbas will be exposed as a big fraud they are...they hide under Nigeria using scheming and propaganda to be embellish their image. Look on that list...Osun, Ekiti and Ogun top the list of states with high deduction. By the time the economy gets to red zone, afonjas will be out in the streets begging like alamajiri. |
