Try and go to your bank and complain, cos this issue is rampat this days and tell them that you need it for Internet purpose. It also happened to my wife's card too.

They rectified the issue on the card. That's all, most banks in Nigeria issue ATM cards to us since u can cashout or use POS, but since most of us don't do anything online overseas they don't bother to broaden the card usage. Don't worry just report to their customer service and it will be fixed.

Not true I use my StanbicIBTC and sterling Visa cards and even Union master card for international payments but only tried it paying on UK domicile sites though.

I am in UK & non of the aforemention card you list are able to make payment online & when we(I & other Nigerian's) contacted their customer care, they said it's an order from CBN.

Moreover, did you use all d card this month?

Respectfully, you 'r lying. I just try to deposit with GT & First bank to my Neteller account & was rejected. A friend of mine also uses his Zenith card right now & was rejecte.

My GTB is working perfectly. Paid for Google ads this morning. I don't use first bank so I don't know but my GTB and Stanbic are working fine.

I used stanbic yesterday to purchase a movie online. So stop the baseless arguement. Even gtb sent a mail just last week about the new limit on international transactions from $2000 to $1000 they won't send such a mail if the card is restricted overseas would they?

My gtb card is working fine even with paypal and skrill.I also paid for some clients yesterday.

Gtbank Naira mastercard is working fine Internationally.
