Hey,
Can anyone please tell me how much the UK Tier 4 Visa is?
How much is the visa?
And How much is the Immigration Health Surcharge?
Or are the fees paid together?
Basically, how much is it in total?

Which kind badluck be this? Got this here on nairaland that some banks have been barred from all foreign exchange transactions. :

Determined not to tolerate any further breach of extant financial regulations, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has barred nine banks from all foreign exchange transactions.
The banks, THISDAY exclusively gathered this afternoon, were barred for failing to remit the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) dollar funds to the federal government’s Treasury Single Account domiciled in the CBN as directed by the presidency last year.
The banks, whose suspension would remain in force until they remit all the funds to the TSA are:

United Bank for Africa (UBA) $530m;
First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) $469m;
Diamond Bank Plc ($287m);
Sterling Bank Plc ($269m);
Sky Bank Plc ($221m);
Fidelity Bank ($209m);
Keystone Bank ($139);
First City Monument Bank (FCMB) $125m; and Heritage Bank ($85m).

The CBN sources told THISDAY that further disciplinary actions awaited the erring banks after remitting the funds in full to the government’s coffers.

Please how do people who bank with these banks be able to pay tuition through Form A or be able to get PTA or make money transfers?

I was confused and devastated when I saw it on News, was thinking probably two banks (FBN and Skype bank) won't include sad
This is totally unexpected...

Good news. Live rates dropped this morning to 428. If it continues like this, expect something less than 430 on Oanda tomorrow. Today on Oanda is 435. For those using banks that were affected by this new development, GTBANK is ur best bet. All the best house.

The fact is either way shouldn't really make any difference. If you put Naira on the left and pounds to the right, ideally you should get the same result but the problem with Oanda is that they round it up to the nearest 5 decimal places and you will definitely not get an accurate figure. Google currency converter for example is rounded up to the nearest 2 decimal places giving £0.00 in return.

Therefore best practice is to just keep the £ on the left and Naira to the right which must people have advised smiley

UKVI replies emails within 1 working day. To call them, you'll have to pay. So are you sure it is them that you called
https://www.gov.uk/contact-ukvi-outside-uk

You should also keep calling TLS and possibly go to their office to check

Stop giving advice on what you have no clue on.
Currency exchange has a bid and ask rate which is basically the rate you buy the currency you need or sell the currency you have . Rates are more accurate in 8 decimal places, Google currency converter just rounds it up for you to remove confusion.

Most people actually advised to keep the Naira to the left and Pound to the right which I really don't understand the F' confusion as oanda has already labelled the inputs. You know you HAVE Naira to show the visa officer so why are people being so dull

Hello house

Please any one with testimony regarding submitting their application when the rate is a bit on the high side on completion of 28days?

I have been keeping my funds for more than 3 months and I just got my CAS yesterday but unfortunately the rate is no more favourable. I calculated 430 when keeping the fund and now its 434.6.

Your testimony will go a long way. Thank you.

The best advice i will give u is just keep money for your visa payment and IHS in your account and then monitor the rate. Once you see that the rate is below 430, u quickly apply and pay. period!! cos the home office will use the rate of the day u apply for visa to calculate. So like i said, just be watchful and monitor the rate.
Secondly, the rate for today isn't 434.6, d rate is 435.311. Maybe you are using the wrong method of checking.
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 3 by elope: 10:22am On Aug 24, 2016
whether the rate os 436 or 467.. ill advise one calculates at 500 before putting in their account to be on the safe side to prevemt oneself from all these wahala. for those that have not started the process
