Don't be afraid of choice of states,just do your research about the states that will fit your profile and you good to go.

Haaa,I can only say choosing your state of origin already defeated the purpose of inter-culture or whatsoever(don't know how best to explain this)
I don't know why exactly but my opinion is that during admission into the university,state of origin was asked and submitted into the school database,so even if you choose it,you won't get it unless one redeploy on the basis of health,marriage et all.


Knowing the state one will serve in is solely the responsibility of NYSC computer selector(the programmers should forgive my blunders if there's any)they choose for you.

All in all,it depends on LUCK.

y0rmee i need your help. I previously asked about this issue and i got reassuring answers then. however, this morning i stumbled across this story where a Nigerian foreign trained graduate was initially barred from serving in the NYSC.

I've taken time to go through that news story. From my observation, i doubt if 'SSCE' or any other related issue would affect you during service/mobilization. The utmost is that you are recognized by JAMB, which handles all admission-related issues. I schooled in the North (where you of course know has lots of students with 'incomplete results'), and i've never seen any of such being affected by this.
