Bola Ige Mechatronics Institute (BIMI) is an intelligent auto- training institute established in honour of the late Chief Ajibola Idowu Adegoke Ige at Esa Oke, Osun state. It is the first of its kind in Nigeria and West Africa. The institute was established to serve the following functions:
• Provide expert training for developing private sector competence in auto diagnostics and repair
• Facilitate a modern hi-tech environment to train the trainers.
• Theory and Practice setting for retaining local auto mechanics
• Serve as a test bed for raising auto remediation entrepreneur

LOCATION:
The Bola Ige Mechatronics Institute (BIMI) is located at Esa Oke, Osun state, Nigeria. Esa Oke is a town under Obokun Local Government Area of the Ijesha North Federal constituency of Osun state, South –West Nigeria. It is a native Ijesha community and shares boundaries with other towns namely: Oke-Imesi, Ijebu –Ijesa, Esa –Odo and Efon Alaye.

Osun is an inland state in southwestern Nigeria. It is home to several of Nigeria’s most famous landmarks including the Obafemi Awolowo University, One of Nigeria’s preeminent institutions of higher learning. The university is located in ancient town of Ile –Ife, an important early centre of political and religious development for Yoruba culture. It is a short one hour drive to osogbo the state capital. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, and nature, it is an ideal place to live and study in one of the most beautiful regions in Osun state.

 National Vocational Certificate- Intermediate
 National Vocational Certificate- Final

1. Vulcanizing, Wheel Balancing and Wheel Alignment.
2. Air-conditioning Servicing and Maintenance.
3. Computer Auto-Diagnosis.
4. Hybrid Car Maintenance and Servicing.
5. Auto-Electrical Diagnosis and Repair.
6. Chassis, Suspension and Brake Systems.
7. Combustion Engine and Transmission Servicing and Repair.
8. Workshop Management.
9. Key Programming and Car Security.
10. Car Tracking.

Admission requirements
National Vocational Certificate final students is expected to have JSS3 Certificate as the minimum requirement for the National Vocational program. Requirement for the professional development courses varies from primary school attendance to a University degree depending on what is being trained for.
The National Vocational Certificate {NVC} or National Technical Certificate {NTC} with credit pas
ses in the trade modules and five academic subjects relevant to the programme and at least a pass in English language.

Duration of programs
National Vocational programs are one (1) year full-time and two (2) years part-time, while the duration of professional development programs varies from 2 weeks to 6 months and usually part-time.
