Here is a man who meant well for them and they decided not to see each other as brother and sister and decided to sleep with each other even as underaged kids. For me i totally support what the pastor did as open correction is better than secret love. It was as if his own children commited incest. wow so if you had an adopted brother you would actually consider sleeping with him? My point is a simple one...The Pastor did no wrong by openly correcting them even if it was by flogging. A lot of people do a lot less and get poured hot water on or even worse by their very own blood parents and we read about all of this even here on Nairaland so flogging is nothing even if he did it openly.

If you got pregnant for someone at age 14 perhaps your parents would sneak you into an abortion clinic and get rid of it secretly but not everybody would do that. If the Pastor has suggested abortion to her then she would have said it but the young girl said the idea of abortion was between herself and her step brother so its obvious that the pastor did not want to soil his hands and would have most probably allowed her to deliver and still remain in his house but he had to show her that he would not hide her shameful behaviour...simple.

The two church members of International God's Way Church who are at the centre of Bishop Obinim’s flogging saga have finally commented on the issue.

During a live TV interview on OBTV, they stated the number of years they have been staying with the man of God who said they are his adopted children.

Eliasu Zakari, the young guy in the video which went viral, said he has been staying with Bishop Obinim for about eight years. Justina Nhyiraba Gyasiwaa also disclosed that she has been with Bishop Obinim since age 10.

During the TV interview, Zakari admitted that he slept with the young girl but hurriedly added that they did it once. He continued that the flogging happened at church three days after Gyasiwaa informed him about the pregnancy.

Stating why she wanted to abort the pregnancy, Gyasiwaa told the host she was afraid of Mr and Mrs Obinim. She revealed that she asked her sibling to bring her a medicine to damage the pregnancy but it did not work as planned.
