I want to start my new blog but I don't have too much to invest at a start. I wanted to go with blogger(). buy a dot com domain and probably buy a template that is SEO friendly. My primary earnings should come adsense.

here is what I really want to know:

1. If I blog with using custom domain, will I be able to rank high in Google engine.

2. will I be able to drive in more traffic to my blog from google.

Or should I forget about blogger and save money for wordpress self hosted Acct.

pls I need advice from matured mines with lots of experience in blogging. Thank you

Hi kevinedet01 in blogging you don't just get rich or start making money over night. there are people who have being into blogging for the past 2 years and have not even made #1000 from there blog. secondly you need hard work to drive traffic to your blog not just dropping every copy and post on ur site.
Now to your question if you want an easy, safe and secured blog site choose blogger . I.e if you you do not know much about coding like me. you can also get a custom domain like a lot of guys here do. but if you are a good coder and do have a few money to send then you can choose WordPress.org. which is the best platform for bloggers. this is because you have a lot of plugins to help you with SEO which converts to traffic. But on blogger you need to work hard for you to rank.
